Hired Natalie to come check on and feed my 2 cats for 4 days. She was thorough in the meet and greet and took lots of notes. She has a good energy and interacted well with the cats. Although I am not a current client, I hired Natalie  a number of years ago to pet sit my dogs, as well as pick up dog poo on a biweekly basis. Natalie is honest, reliable and friendly. I would recommend her to any one looking for a pet sitting service. When pet sitting for me, she would water my plants, care for my dogs and pick up my mail. I always see her walking around the neighborhood with a few dogs in tow making sure they are happy pups. :)After a few months of dog poo clean up, she very politely told me that she could no longer afford to service my yard - as it was losing her business money. I completely understood this, we parted ways professionally and hired another company to pick up the poo. I am no longer in need of pet setting service either, but if I ever needed pet sitting service I would reach out to her again in hopes that she was available. More...

I have known Natalie for 4+ years and watched her business grow enormously over time and the main point I can drive home is that she is a person destined to be doing the work she is doing now. She has a kind heart, is hard-working, and I believe has a special sense for animals (even bugs!) I do know that she started her business on her own and has grown it into a collective community of pets and their owners. Because her passion for animals and her business, her clientele has expanded largely over the years and has FEW but trusted friends and colleagues working for her (myself included) to help out. Unlike larger companies, she has a one-one relationship with the client and a small group of employees that she has pre-screened working for her. Dear pet owners,I am regretfully writing this review because I don't want to share Natalie. Yup, that's right. I've been using Natalie's Pet Services for months now and I don't want to write this review because this is the best pet sitter in all of Sacramento and I don't want to share her. I used to fear vacations, travel, long days and anytime I would have to leave my dogs in the care of inexperienced pet sitters.I've said no to out of town trips, even a paid vacation because I didn't have anyone to care for our dogs who was responsible. And then I met Natalie.You see, Natalie's care and attention to detail is so above anyone else I've hired here in Sacramento that I'm sad I have to share her.But Yelpers, I will.Natalie first started house sitting for me when I had a 3 night, 4 day work event to go to. She came for our meet and greet and was on time. She came armed with her iPad and took the most comprehensive notes I've ever seen. Our alarm system is insane, and I am neurotic about making sure it's set all the time. If you jiggle a window the WSPD is here in 5 minutes. It's set all the time and I like it that way. Natalie understood this right away and made it a priority.My dogs have been really upset when we've gotten home from past vacations. They always seemed really agitated and upset. Their water bowl was gross, the house was a pig sty, so upsetting. And then, then we met Natalie.When we got home from being away my dogs barely noticed. I normally have to have my housecleaner in right away to clean. Not this time. Our house was spotless. Our dogs were so calm they hardly noticed we had arrived home. My alarm records showed that she had meticulously set and reset everything. House lights were perfect. Mail was in. Plants looks amazing. But most important, our dogs were so happy.She went above and beyond our list of things we wanted done. She blew our list out of the water. My special dogs were happy to see us but also completely relaxed because she followed their routine to a tee.So Yelpers, I'm letting the secret out. What do you love most about your job?
I love being able to spend time caring for all kinds of animals. I find it rewarding to be able to give peace of mind to the owners that their pets are being well cared for.
What inspired you to start your own business?
When I was working in veterinary medicine, a lot of clients would ask me for help pet sitting and dog walking. It snowballed from there because I love to accommodate clients and spend as much time with animals as possible.
