Nashville Sweets made the cake for my 5/4/2019 wedding. They were fantastic to work with, the tasting was fun, the design was exactly what I wanted, and when my guests were served cake, they made the delighted faces of people who have been let down by wedding cake in the past. Honestly...we were blown away by Nashville Sweets!! We visited Nashville from out of town, and called several bakeries in advance who didn't take custom design requests, and Nashville Sweets willingly took on our design questions and requests with ease and confidence. They knocked our 30th birthday leopard cake out of the ball park!! Aside from the amazing look, it also tasted phenomenal. I recently got a cake from Nashville Sweets it was a Prince themed cake for a surprise party. It was a hit!! Not only was it beautiful, but it was delicious. I had a baker to flake on me so I was trying to find someone a week before the party. Whoever I spoke with on the phone was so nice. I ordered a birthday cake for a friend and it was amazing! I don’t live in Nashville but it was easy for me to order and pay via phone and pick up it when I arrived. The cake was amazing! We used Nashville Sweets for our wedding, and they were a hit. We loved the flavors, we ended up with a two tier cake of Almond w/ Vanilla and Raspberry Chocolate Chip. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the strawberry cupcakes were awesome, very fresh. The cake pops were as well. Also had a chocolate dipped cannoli! Talk about a sweet little surprise. Perfect little gem on woodland next to Yeast Nashville. The smell of the sweets the moment you walk in hit you like a delicious flash. All their treats are so well crafted with beautiful icing and delicious unique flavors. Parking gets a bit crazy on the busy hours but that happens everywhere. Nashville Sweets made my wedding cake and a groom's cake. The wedding cake was beautiful and the groom's cake was exactly what we wanted - something a little kitschy but not overly so. Plus, they were both deliciously moist with great fillings (we chose almond/raspberry and chocolate/salted caramel). We actually had no leftovers by the end of the wedding weekend. My 5-Star rating is for both taste and service. I was gifted a personalized cake from here and the lettering was perfectly precise. When I tasted it, I knew this cake and I were going to become an item. Indeed, we spent a fantastic week together. The friends I shared with agreed: I THOUGHT I HAD TO GET MARRIED TO GET A CAKE THIS GOOD! Looking now at reviews, I’m seeing some reports of single-serve items being dry. Amazing bakery for custom cake and cookies. Bachelorette style sugar cookies shaped as boots and diamond rings were so professional. Birthday cake we got was a 3 later chocolate cake. I ordered a cake for a friends birthday last minute. They made a sinfully perfect chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and cream cheese filling that was out of this world. Prices are reasonable and their website is worth perusing. They are famous for the complex and beautiful wedding cakes and uncommon cupcake flavors (maple bacon?) noms. I was in Nashville for a short weekend and found the location to be basically downtown and easy to get to. 4.5I suffered through the consequences of eating this beautiful gluten bomb... and I'd probably do it again. It's that good. Seriously.My friends/neighbors were have a gender reveal party and we all know the most important part of the gender reveal party is the cake. In this case, a girl meant strawberry cake. A boy meant blue vanilla. Looking at the centerpiece of the get together, my first thought was that it was a really beautiful cake. Like, it was obviously made by a professional. The lettering was fun. The colors were vibrant. The accessories made sense and were tasteful. The cake was high and stable (no leaning towards of hot messes here). I thought to myself that it was too bad that I have this gluten thing going on because that's quite a handsome cake. Oh well. I'll snap a picture of the color and keep it moving.It came time for the reveal and... blue vanilla! It's a boy! Everyone cheered and clapped (as we would have for strawberry cake... I mean, a girl) and I went back to my pink champagne on ice (magically delicious). That's when I heard another friend/neighbor lose his mind when eating the cake. He apologized but said it was an involuntary reaction. It was *that* good. It couldn't be *that* good... could it? No. I was going to be strong. More champagne. When his wife let out a similar exclamation of disbelief, I started to shift my weight from foot to foot. I shouldn't eat gluten. I know this. My body really knows this. But... I'm an old school fatty and I love Love LOVE fancy cake. What to do? What to do? Imagine Homer Simpson going through the pros and cons as he fretted and flitted about. That was me... and I reached the same conclusion: I had to have the cake. Had to. It was, like, a cosmic law like gravity or the strong nuclear force. I picked up a slice of the satiny blue cake, cut a piece with my fork, took a bite and... have you seen Requiem For A Dream? Trainspotting? Yep. That. If Stranger Things wasn't terrifying, this might have been the sugary counterpart of the Upside Down world. I don't know why or how but this might have been the best cake I have ever had. Transformed. Transported. Pupils dilated, I had visions of weddings, birthdays, showers, anniversaries... anything to get more of that cake. The cake itself was light and had a flavor. The vanilla was pronounced (and delicious) and I swear I could taste the blue! The fondant had a wonderful texture that differentiated itself from the frosting (which I couldn't get enough of). Despite the danger to my belly and, well, the fact that it would have been beyond tacky, I was devising ways to make off with the rest of the cake. Yes. The rest of someone else's gender reveal cake. I needed it. I am still conniving a way to get it to my house. I've already made room in my fridge.Yes, there were consequences. No, I didn't regret my actions. Yes, I'd do it again. If I could give 6 stars, I would. We were visiting from out of town and needed a birthday cake for a work event. We did know any local shops, but these guys were fairly close to us. We ordered a chocolate and caramel cake that was so moist, sweet and delicious, it knocked our socks off! I don't recall ever seeing busy adults stop what they were doing, and with the widest eyes you've ever seen, rave about how good the cake they were eating was. My husband and I love this bakery. We go in for snacks anytime we're in the area. I've never had anything I didn't thuroughly enjoy! We also used them for our wedding cake which was an overall good experience. The price was the best part. After checking out several bakeries they were by far the most reasonable at the awesome quality. They even did custom cake pops for my groom which were adorable and delicious! The actual wedding cake itself tasted great, but I felt like it could've looked cleaner based on the design we had.
