Great working environment with friendly co-workers. Great working atmosphere. Most enjoyable part of the job was being able to encounter and become a in-store stylist for celebrities. The hardest part of the job was attending to rude customers. Great management and work culture.Pros easy, mild-paced, sociableCons no break More...

Hi, I’ve been helping out my friend at his start-up Agency, Mass Appeal (to get his Agency up and running but now called NameWell). It’s been challenging and exciting. I previously worked for MatchWeld (merged from a previous shoppers' marketing agency, Marketing Drive) who was then sold to Match Marketing, Toronto Canada (who then chose to close the Chicago office in January 2014). However, Match did offer me a relocation position at the Home Office in Norwalk, CT. Very woodsy there, however, I’m a city man. Currently my friend is well on his way with his agency and I’m ready to get back into something, hopefully challenging and exciting to keep me inspired. I’ve built up the expertise that will enable me to contribute to an Agency with the desire to win new business while delivering my best work for current clients, building organic growth. My goal is to always do the best I can for me and my company. It’s a win win for you and me. That’s what keeps me motivated otherwise I could just be selling insurance policies and collecting commissions. Not going to happen! Please take a look at my simple Resume and check out my temporary website (I need to totally redo this site, but your opportunity came along now). In addition, would you look at the wenamewell.com website (which contains my most recent work). I've done about 90% of the work shown - The wordpress web template and logo design, the creative graphics, layouts and production work for our clients. P.S. I am also freelancing for DDB ChicagoPros Talented Mentoring Management, Flexible hoursCons no insurance or paid vacation or 401K, located in far west side Logan Square/Avondale More...

Everyone must show up before 7:30 am so that we can practice different scenarios we had or may encounter. We also practiced learning and teaching different theories and understanding of our product. Around 9:00 we had the manager round us up to praise people who did well in previous work days. He would tell us inspirational stories of athletes and businessmen to show us how hard work would be rewarded. We would leave in a group with each team with a different map and we would go to areas highlighted. Went business to business offering employees promotional packages for sporting events, such as Houston Rocket tickets, movie passes, restaraunt discounts, and all other offers our clients we're doing through our company. At the end of the day we would all head back to the office to break down our day and see what we're some pros and cons for our day. Also we would set realistic goals for the next day such as more sales, talk to more people, learn to teach new employees, overcoming negatives, get into management, etc. Before we went home we would get paid cash and depending on the product we could make anywhere from 3 dollars to 15 dollars per sale.Pros paid at the end of the day, learned to confront strangers, opportunity to grow, opportunity to win bonuses, lunch is generally on your own scheduleCons no sale no pay, continue working even when pouring rain, not enough pay for hours worked More...
