Really nice. Went on a Tuesday night, was quite quiet at 7pm! Car park opposite is £1.50 from 6pm onwards so parking is nice and close! Definitely recommend!

I've been meaning to try this place for a while - so glad I did! They offer zingy fresh south Indian vegetarian food (much is vegan and gluten free). Think chaat, puris, dosas and fresh, fresh chutneys and sauces. The ambience is great too - who would have thought an old Methodist chapel could look so cheerful and fun! I visited Namaste Village while I was staying in the adjoining hotel, Namaste Palace. This was the best meal I had during my time in Norwich by a wide margin, not to mention the wide variety of options I had as a vegan and non-drinker (menu is entirely vegan / veggie, and is clearly marked. Namaste hosted our wedding in early March and we can't thank them enough!We've always loved their food, it's fresh, vibrant and delicious…. and we're not vegetarian but it's hands down the best curry we've ever had! So when we came to thinking about wedding food they were the immediate choice as I knew they offered outside catering but we also needed a venue. Their restaurant on Queens Road is beautiful, brightly coloured and authentically Indian with a stunning double height ceiling decorated with delicate hand painted umbrellas. So problem solved we decided to have our reception there as well. We were a large wedding party at 110 guests but Namaste catered to us seamlessly! The staff were attentive, the food was spectacular.Namaste also have a hotel above the restaurant which was perfect for our guests who had travelled to attend our wedding. The rooms are spotless and comfortable.In particular we'd like to thank the owner Vijay. He said he would undertake our wedding as if we were family and he was true to his word! Also Gnani who was an absolute pleasure and made planning the day as stress free and easy as could be. Gnani couldn't do enough for us, and was always on hand to reply to emails and go over plans, I really can't thank her enough!We can't wait to go back to Namaste for another celebration soon! Came to this place not realising it was purely vegetarian however that took nothing away from the experience. This place makes a lot of conscious effort in it's service and the atmosphere created is one of the best I've seen in this kind of restaurants. The building itself is unique and very open with lots of attention put into the decor. There is a nice selection of foods however considering it's all just vegetables it's still priced higher than places offering similar meat dishes. The food overall was very tasty and well presented.The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate any needs. We had a family meal here last night and we all agreed it was the nicest curry we have had for a long time. The food was amazing! It was fantastically presented and just delicious. We had a delicious drink made from ginger and mint that was was pretty amazing in itself. The restaurant itself is beautiful and incredibly relaxing with soft Indian music playing. The staff were smiley and friendly, happy and helpful. We also loved the way you can pay forward for a meal for someone in need and put a sticker in the window so people know there is a meal available for them. What a lovely idea and it's incredibly nice to know that having enjoyed a wonderful meal ourselves we can make sure that someone who needs a hot meal is able to come and get one.
