Teri put together the Kit package for our living room and did a great job! We have a smaller sized townhouse and were having trouble visualizing how to furnish the room to fit our needs and make best use of the space. We had tried working with a designer online and didn’t find it useful. We met with a second designer for a consultation and felt like she was tone deaf to our needs and budget. Teri was our third try and it was a great decision to go with her. I wish we had worked with her from the start. She put together a floor plan for the room that works for the space and looks good! Teri was wonderful to work with! She came to my house for a consultation and learned about my style and needs. She followed up with recommendations for wall paint colors for an office, kitchen (including the cabinets) and great room, as well as recommendations for lighting and knobs for the kitchen, and accessories for the great room. Teri has been awesome to work with! We recently moved into a new home in NW DC and needed help with several projects to make the home fit our style. Since we entertain often, we wanted our home to be very inviting and elegant, and she has helped us achieve this goal. She has helped us with several items including designing our wet bar and putting the finishing touches on the decoration of our home. She has a great eye for color, style, design and picking out those special items that enhanced our décor. Plus, she is professional, positive, friendly, and fun. She loves her work and it shows.
When we moved to DC, our first attempts to find a decorator were hard. Either they were unprofessional, or impossible to reach by phone or email. We felt like some attempted to sell us items that were overpriced and/or not reflective of our style. We like nice things but only want them if they make sense. Although we are not very price sensitive, with her we never felt exploited, which was nice. While our home decoration projects are nearly finished, we will continue to hire her for any future projects, and for the selection of any furniture, decor or artwork. Nafasi was a big help with the huge project we are doing. With a limited staff and an endless list of things that needed to get done in opening a new brewery and restaurant, Teri was amazing at helping us refine our broad thoughts and start making decisions. She was able to listen to our ideas and opinions and seamlessly mesh her tastes, so that we could get on the right track of making our vision come to life. She was always available and quick to respond at a very fair price - even from across the country. We plan to work with her again as our project develops further.
