I have been addicted to Opiates for 20 plus years and have tried several different detoxes the worst being detox five, where they put you to sleep for five days and then pump you full of Naltraxone. I have just spent 5 days in the clinic having NAD treatment. The nurses in the facility were fantastic - very attentive, super friendly and they look after you really well.

From the moment I first contacted the clinic John Gillen has been great. I had multiple contact with him prior to treatment where he took the time to understand my situation and explain how he could help. This was all part of the service and John had been very engaged with me as a client throughout my treatment so far.

The thought of 5 days sat in a clinic could sound daunting but it was actually a really nice break from the hectic nature of everyday life. I was able to put my feet up and work productively on my laptop (after the 1st day which was a day for getting used to the treatment).

It is early days for me but I have already noticed I am sleeping better and less tired. I am feeling positive and looking forward to seeing the full impact of the infusions over the next few weeks. More...
