Best North Indian food in triangle, triangle has great indian food but North Indian has been disappointing. Authentic Punjabi food loved both paneer, Malai kofta and chicken Tikka. Naans are great but biriyani isn't great. I wish biryani was better, that's only disappointed More...

Easily the best Indian food in Durham and one of the better restaurants around too. This is my go-to for take out, and based on how busy it was tonight, it's a lot of people's go-to! But don't worry, they're still fast! Don't miss out on this great restaurant. More...

My first visit was on a chilly rainy Monday. In search of warm filling comfort food I stopped in for lunch. Very welcoming --clean calm interior with wonderful aromas from the buffet. Warm naan (yum)  brought in a basket ; complimentary hot tea; delicious chicken curry, a really good saag paneer. The buffet is not huge but is full of flavorful dishes. Attractive presentation. The cuisine is North Indian Punjabi. Totally recommend. Don't wait for a rainy Monday for your first visit! More...

My husband and I went here for dinner. I thought the prices were reasonable. Both of us enjoyed our meals; I ordered the butter chicken dinner and he ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala dinner. I knocked it down one star for minor reasons that I explain below. I thought service was slow although it wasn't busy. In fact we came at the later part of the evening so I was surprised that our waiter didn't come by soon after we asked for to-go boxes. My husband had to go to the front counter to pay for our meal and I didn't expect that for a sit down restaurant. The second reason is that for a restaurant that prides itself on their naan, I felt that it should have been included in the meal, not as an extra side that we had to order in addition to our meals. Overall it was a good experience and we were happy with the quality of the food. More...

Usually eating at a buffet automatically means the quality of the food will be lower than just ordering an entree. Being inexperienced with Indian/Punjabi cuisine I tried a little bit of everything at first. Some things you’re boing to like more than others but in this case I really enjoyed everything and wound up going back for a little bit of everything two more times. EASILY the best buffet meal I’ve ever had. More...

Some of the tastiest Indian food in the Triangle.  I had a takeout container from the lunch buffet so I could sample multiple dishes.  This is not for anyone on a low-fat diet.  You can tell they use real butter and full cream in the sauces.  The takeout cost as much as dining in, but I instead of overeating in one sitting, I got two relaxing meals out of one pass at the buffet. Ate here for lunch yesterday and I'm surprised they didn't recognize that I needed a wheelbarrow to get myself out of here. This is the bees knees as far as I'm concerned. Killer Indian flavor, at least 15 different choices on the lunch buffet as far as entrees and the gulab jamon was some of the best I've had since Ms. Patel introduced me to the little balls of heaven in college eight years ago. I will make this place a go to in any circumstance where lunch is my choice. Go for the palek korma, navarataan korma or the typical tikka and be warned that belts need to be loosened. More...
