I used Nerissa to design a leaflet for a community event I organised. She did an amazing job. She was professional, completed the leaflet design by the deadline I gave her and used her creative thinking to take my idea and bring it to life.

I hired Nerissa for my wedding stationary. From the invites to wedding breakfast menu and name cards for the guests. She did a fantastic job at showing us some brilliant design ideas that really complimented our wedding venue and the overall look we were going for. Would highly recommend Nerissa as shes great at responding to emails/texts/calls. Even when we had some silly questions. Shes very understanding and explained every step of the process to us. She listened to our ideas and created the perfect wedding stationary.
She had our finished wedding stationary delivered to our door! It was just perfect. All our friends and family loved the invites. Would highly recommend NA Design.

Q&As

I have the creative abilities and understanding of how to control one’s eye to help the viewer absorb information. I create designs that can become integral for businesses. I utilise composition, colour, scale, texture, photography and typography in order to promote an idea.

My usual steps when presented with a brief:

Step 1: Creative Brief - a good clear brief helps me understand what you would like
Step 2: Design Research
Step 3: Ideas Board/Sketching - Creation Phase
Step 4: Feedback from client
Step 5: Refining - final tweaking
Step 6: Present reworked design to client
Step 7: Revisions - last adjustments
Step 8: Final Delivery - design work sent to client in a suitable format for client needs etc.

I believe a good clear brief is the way forward. Having an idea of what you want is a great place to start. We can then build on this concept together.

Graphic design is something that’s been part of me since I was a young child. I enjoy being able to use my years of creative experiences to help my clients business get noticed and thrive. I have just a few of the many reasons why I love my job

I love I get to create.
I learn about many types of businesses.
I can make businesses look better than their competitors.
I get to select colours and fonts that evoke response.
A graphic tablet is my paintbrush.
I get to collaborate with other creative and marketing pros.
Every day is unique.
I can help clients bring their ideas to visual reality.
I get to translate words into visual stories.

Graphic design is always evolving, which creates an ongoing demand for my creativity.

As well as setting aside hours in the day for my regular in house freelance graphic design job. I am always keen to take on new briefs to keep my days varied and creative. I enjoy helping others to realise their goals and find it is easier to reach out to a wide variety of clientele through platforms such as Bark.

I love being a graphic designer and that this is the career I have chosen. Having an eye for colour, composition and layout is something that I’ve been working on for many years . It’s part of who I am.
