Worth every penny! I went a few weeks ago after needing to find a new salon after a very poor experience at a salon where an untrained stylist cut and charged me for a DevaCut without having taken any courses in the technique. (with the owner and front desk knoweldge at each appointment!)Anywho, I looked for a salon closer to my house and am so happy to have found Mystique. I'm young in my 20s so having a full functional website with intense staff profiles is CRUCIAL! It just showed me they put effort into their clients and salon. I noticed there is only one male on the list (owner), and he answered the phone the day I booked, and was there the day I came in for my cut. That meant a lot to me, he cares about his salon enough to put in the hours and do the work to keep it running with his own hands! so rare! I discussed on the phone my experience with the other salon, was assured of the process, and the skills of the three stylists, their years of using the technique. I ended the call super excited (and then got an email reminder for my apt that synced to my calendar, again HUGE plus!!!)Walking into the salon was interesting, but don't be deceived by the mall salon exterior, the place is very clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, offering tea, coffee, water, whatever you need! Very lux! I loved Tayler, she walked through the whole process, explaining the different techniques for maximizing my curl. She never pushed the products on me, but did show me how to use them and explain which of the line was best for my curl type (something the other place never did, always leaving my hair sticky and flat). Her knowledge and manner were impeccable, you could tell she really enjoys her job, great conversationalist and made the appointment a lot of fun! Beautiful salon, always great service. I have seen multiple stylists but most frequently go to Brianna for my cut and styles (~$45 normally), I have also had her do blowouts with curls for formal occasions. I have lived in the area throughout college and now permanently for the past 3 years, and have always jumped from salon to salon. Once I found Mystique 2 years ago, I haven't gone anywhere else. I love Mystique and my stylist Megan. I have been coming in for cuts for a few years. This week I finally decided to go for a Balayage Hair color. I was nervous - I wanted a natural look, but also wanted to brighten up and add some reddish tones to my natural dull brassy blond/brown. Megan showed me samples of the colors on hair swatches and we decided together to add 3 shades, to create high and low lights and to leave some of my natural color. Then it was like watching an artist as she painted my hair. I was blown away by the result - so natural looking, but totally spectacular. My hair catches the light with all the subtle shades. I had Danielle and she was great! I've been wanting bangs with layers for a long time but always unsure how it would look on me. I tend to ask stylists their opinion and most would shy away once they know you are hesitant on something. I see this more of a sign of confidence in the stylist than anything. I mean if they don't think they can make it look good then why should I?!Anyway Danielle was totally excited about the transformation I wanted and she knew immediately whether it would look good with the shape of my face. And it looks great! I am so thrilled that this may be my new salon. I've been going to this salon for 7 or 8 years. My first stylist was great, and when she moved away she hooked me up with Jane. Jane is always ALWAYS great! I have super thick and coarse hair that is curly, and never had a bad cut. She can straighten it and curl it and always listens to what I want. She gave great advice when I started coloring my hair myself, and now that I started getting highlights from her I'm super happy! Mystique did a great job on hair and make up for my entire bridal party. They were extremely professional and flexible with us, even when we changed things on them. They got us all done very quickly in the morning so we were in and out and ready for pictures.

They helped me find my wedding look and were very accommodating with me when I would come in for trials. They really guided me when I was trying to figure out my wedding look. My first visit to Mystique and I will be a regular client.My appt was with Olivia for a cut & blow dry. Since I have alopecia, am usually very self-conscious when I go into any hair salon, but Olivia made me feel completely at ease. She listened closely to the style as I described it - asymmetrical bob - and she executed it flawlessly. Whenever we had a special event or occasion, we have been going to Mystique Hair & Skin. When my daughter got engaged and needed a place for her and her bridesmaids, as well as family members to get their hair and make-up done, we contacted Mr. Ed Simon to make an appointment for 10.04.2014. He was there for us and guided us all the way to the wedding. He choose the right person based on individual hair needs. My daughter and everyone in our party loved their hair and were very happy with the professional and wonderful services of Mystique's hair salon. Even when we added last minute services Mr. Ed Simon was very accommodating. The wedding turned out wonderful and everyone looked very pretty. I absolutely loved the way they did my hair and make-up.

I loved this place! I made an appointment with Jane, as recommended by the very sweet receptionist, to donate almost two feet of hair. Jane was exceptional - after carefully braiding and cutting my hair for donating, she spent ample time perfecting and styling my new haircut, patiently allowing time for my mom to take pictures of the process. The appointment was about an hour, but only cost $42 (without tip)! I am in love with my new haircut and plan to return when I need a trim. My first experience with CarolAnne at Mystique was when I wanted to schedule a Brazilian Blow Out. I showed up one day, I asked her details and I scheduled. She was marvelous and besides, she also did a little trimming that she thought I needed due to the texture of my hair. I thought that she was being extremely nice when she did that and decided to try a haircut and color with her, which I did next. I was so pleased, and then of course went for what CarolAnne calls THE WORKS, oh, yes, the several hours I spend there with haircut, haircolor, facial and waxing with Maggie. After that, I was "hooked" and add pedicures in the summer, and my daughter Rachel's haircut and waxing with Nancy. The three of them are very professional, kind, they take the time that they need, they know what they are doing and I am very pleased. It's going to be 1 year since I have been going, regularly, I love that they are open on Sundays, that is a big plus, and I have plans to continue being a regular with them. The front desk ladies are also great, the place is clean, the other stylists are also nice, the products they sell are of excellent quality and good price, and there is always tea, coffee, and candy available for the customers.No parking problems and good ambiance in the mall where the salon is located. I never thought I would be getting my hair done in a mall -- I use to go to downtown salons when I lived in Chicago and Atlanta. When we moved here my daughter got gum in my hair and Mystique was the only place open on a Monday. They spent over a hour coming oil into the hair to remove the gum so we would not have to cut her hair into a VERY short bob just before her First Communion. I promised Ed I would return to try out the salon and four years later Tracey is my stylist and friend! I am able to refer many people to her because they ask me "where do you get your hair done?". The atmosphere is upscale, calm and comfortable.
