Dropped by today on way through Bristol on the off-chance they'd been able to replace 2 spokes on my Mavic wheel. First time using BW cycling today, it wont be the last. I was in for a bike fit. Andy took the time to understand why I wanted a fit and the goals of the bike setup. I explained about my desire (wait......yep......i really do want to :-/ ... i think ) to complete LEJOG next year and around issues with knee pain when cycling. Although I explained that I am currently undergoing physio, he still had me performing exercises and stretches so that he can assess things for himself. Bike setup was almost ok, couple of minor adjustments with the saddle but my cleats and shoes were miles out. All in all, almost 2 hours and a new pair of shoes later, I am genuinely excited to get back out on the bike for the first time in ages. Thanks a bunch.... great service. More...

My bike had a crash (not me of course) and BW Cycling helped me through the insurance process. Gave really good independent advice on the right bike for me (. ..and not the most expensive). Having tried the major stores before (including the Specialized shop in Bristol), there is only one place I will now go to. We gave my 18 year old son a bike fit for his birthday. It was so good that my husband also had one. As we were going to NZ on a tandem tour my husband and I then had one for our tandem. Previously I had back problems after and hour or so and my husband also suffered with hip issues. We did 2500km without these problems (shame about the Kiwi drivers) - amazing! Our daughter is an age group triathlete and we bought a new bike for her from BW as well which was supported by bike fit and lots of advice. You cannot get that on the intenret!! More...

Another successful visit to BW this morning, with my son, to pick up a power meter & jacket for him & a waterproof/windproof packable jacket for myself . .. I can't fault the team. Always give great advice. No question, however silly, is too much & I trust them which nowadays is worth it's weight in gold. Amazing service here. Went in for a professional bike fit and was seen by Andy. The bike was configured entirely incorrectly on my behalf but now Andy has saved me no end of back pain and knee issues. Feels a lot better to ride. Bike fit To help me decide which frame size I was going to buy and maybe see if I could get more comfy on the bike I went to BW Cycling for a bike fit. I was an average road racer and time trialist twenty years ago, but now only ride to top up on cardio for my running and to keep fit through periods of injury on my badly aging road bike. The bike fit blew me away. My position was really off and Oli kindly pointed out where my problems were coming from. I learnt loads and was very impressed with the current thinking about position on the bike for comfort. As I was buying online from Canyon, there was never any pressure to buy a bike from BW. Any questions I had were answered and explained very thoroughly, even after the bike fit when I wanted clarification about some points I’d thought of once I was home. To help with comfort on the bike as I sit a lot at work, I was prescribed some exercises that would help. After a few days I could feel a big improvement from the stretching. So now on my new bike I can feel my back is much more comfortable and my arms/shoulders/hands just seem to be in exactly the right position falling naturally in front without stretching for the bars as I was doing before without realising. Overall a massive improvement in comfort on the bike. 10/10 for the bike fit. Definitely recommended. More...

Snapped a spoke this morning & needed to get it fixed before riding again tomorrow. Proved tricky to find a replacement straight pull spoke in Bristol but Josh at BW Cycling said he’d try & sort something out for me. I'm new to cycling

BEFORE BIKE FIT: Two months of effort, numb toes and a sore bottom. Worried I'd bought the wrong bike, heard BW were quite handy, worried I'd be invited to buy more stuff.

AFTER BIKE FIT: Comfortable in the saddle, toes no longer numb, bike feels just right, and to top it off, 2m20secs off my PB! (no new purchases)

BW are a dilight and honest team to deal with. Fantastic knowledge. You get good value for money with great advice and service. The technical advice is so good you might buy a bike as a bi product of the help you get rather than feel you are being sold a product that might turn out to be unsuitable and not fit for purpose. about 6 months ago i had a bike fit with oli and " OMG " what a difference it made to my road riding ( amateur cyclist ) after doing a couple 60 mile sportive's what a difference it's made, im now riding much more comfortably with no neck,back or shoulder pain not to mention the terrible pain through my knee's , it was explained to me in detail by oli , i am now achieving more power and speed at a more comfy pace than before ! oli even emailed me my bike measurement's from the bike fit what a top fella :-) the quality of service was outstanding and professional , i highly recommend using bw cycling to all my friend's as bw cycling was recommended to me from several members from nbcc...so a massive thank you to all at bw cycling :-) More...
