my daughter, future son-in-law and myself were planning their wedding and trying to keep in some reasonable realm on costs but still stay true to our values and tastes. I researched at least eight local caterers. The kids were familiar with Nepo on NE 42nd and loved their food. We did a tasting and it was fabulous! We had the wedding in a park and MyVice was so efficient and flexible and the food was equally fabulous cooked off-site as it was at the tasting at Nepo42. What an incredible catering company! Tarl catered our Grant High School Jazz Band Auction last weekend and I received countless compliments from the attendees on the caliber and quality of the food and I'm still receiving the positive feedback one week later. Tarl provided a taco buffet for 200 people that served as the cornerstone of our culinary offering and it was not only top-notch in terms of the quality, taste and flavors of the food but it was also beautifully presented. Tarl is a premier professional in all of his pre-event communication and planning and he managed every detail with a tremendous level of customer service. His set up time is turnkey and every aspect of his catering management is dialed it. Roberta Tanzi Bickel Today at 5:28 PM I LOVE this catering company!! I found them on-line, and I really liked who they are. I met with them early September 2018 and was very much impressed with all the Menu choices, and the services they provide. So, last October 2018, "MY VICE" catered my daughter's wedding at Elizabeth Chamber Cellars in McMinnville. The food was excellent, as was the service. Guests still tell me (2 mos later)what a wonderful time they had at the wedding and reception, and how good the food was!! I, the bride's mother, had no worries (and 3 glasses of wine) that day. Tarl and the entire team with MyVice Catering were such a breath of fresh air to work with. They recently catered our 200 person wedding and far exceeded our expectations in making our wedding perfect! MyVice isn't afraid to step outside the typical "wedding food" box and spice things up! We went with Southern/Cajun style food and the guests were blown away with the quality, flavor and uniqueness of all the dishes served, we received so many complements! Tarl and his team were so on point and professional, they even had a staff member shucking oysters for our very own oyster bar! My Vice catered the 2017 Stumptown Improv Festival and it was perfection! Total professionals with planning, delivering and presenting. The food they provided in our green room for our comedy festival was delicious and exactly what we had in mind. My Vice Catering is a fantastic company. Their values for locally sourced and sustainable products is in line with what we believe in.
They also pay and treat their staff so well. The bartenders we happy, efficient, and fun. The staff did an amazing job of busing and cleaning up. They arrived on time and prepared.
Then there is the food.... so yummy. We got soooo many compliments from our guests. The appetizers were beautiful and delicious. They used the charcoal bbq at the venue and it really added to the experience and made the food so fresh. All the sauces, salsas, and attention to detail on the buffet table was great.
Tarl was very communicative with us throughout the entire process. They handled all the rentals, we just had to pick what we wanted. So easy! If you are planning an event, hire My Vice Catering. Seriously, just do it. They are awesome!

How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We love to either meet in person or email and gather info about what food makes you excited, your event, dietary restrictions etc... then create your personalized menu.
What do you love most about your job?
I love food and what it means to me. I love feeding large groups of people and making them excited for the meal they are about to enjoy. Creating menus and taking a whole kitchen off site, all the different challenges that come with each unique event
What inspired you to start your own business?
Friends would constantly ask if we could cook for their parties then started getting request for many weddings so we decided to just jump in since we've been doing for many years for other companies and it's been great.
