My Dog Training was founded to provide pet and companion dogs the same training level as the Service Dogs. We offer Animal Aromatherapy to aid your pet in recovery from illness, injury or to help maintain their hwlp. We also offer training for you and your dog, either through our group classes, which are offered in the evenings, or through private training (during the day or on the weekends).

I am a veteran and needed a service dog I didn't go through an agency because you can't get the exact breed of dog I wanted Susanne has been incredible Charlie my standard poodle adores her and is Dakota s buddy. These folks are great! Not only are they incredibly kind, knowledgeable and qualified in what they do but they have a serious love and commitment to you and your pet. They commit to training dogs for success and when you board they do not leave that site. Those dogs have care 24/7! The sleep on a cot and stay with your pet. They don’t go home like a 9-5 job. I met Suzanne about 2 years ago when I was looking for help finding a service dog. Suzanne helped me select and begin training my puppy (now almost 16 months old). I enjoyed her training style, knowledge, and openness in addressing all my questions. So much so, I began training under her to learn to become a trainer myself. What do you love most about your job?
For me the most exciting aspect of this job is watching the team bond and improve. Watching the behaviors improve over the weeks until you don't recognize that it is the same dog that you started with.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was continually approached by people who asked if I could train their pet dog. From this My Little Dog Training was born. It has now morphed into My Little Dog Training Academy & Daycare, where both dogs and people come to learn and have fun.
Why should our clients choose you?
As a Certified Professional Dog Trainer who is one of less than 300 in the world with my level of accreditation I am the ideal person for you to bring your dog to for training, behavior modification, daycare and boarding.
Basic Obedience
Just the basics - Sit, down, stand, stay. We add in distance, duration and distractions
AKC Canine Good Citizen
Training and preparation for all levels of the American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC) including, CGC, CGCA and CGCU
Behavior Modification
I work with you and your dog one-on-one to determine how to correct the problem behaviors. This requires an in-person consultation to develop a behavior modification plan. Some behaviors are easier to fix than others and some can not realistically be resolved.
