I could not have asked for better care. I have two dogs with health issues and they took amazing care of both of them. Meds were administered at all the necessary times, and they sent me pictures of them and kept me up to date the entire time I was away. I would go back in a heartbeat. It's genuinely hard to capture in a simple review how grateful I am to have found Janet and Theresa to take care of my dog, Luna, at My Best Buddies. I moved to the neighborhood 7 months ago, and was really nervous to find a new dog walker. I didn't know who I could trust, and Luna was having a hard time adjusting to the new apartment. My anxieties were completely quelled the day I met Janet and Theresa - Luna immediately loved them. I initially hired them for just dog walking, but one day Janet texted me asking if I wouldn't mind if Luna went to daycare that day, because someone was doing construction in our building and Luna was clearly frightened. She emphasized she wouldn't charge me for this, she just wanted Luna to be calm and feel secure. I can't tell you how much this meant to me. This "above and beyond" and "dog-first" attitude really impressed me, and I admire how selfless these women are when it comes to taking care of dogs (and cats).Luna loved daycare so much and thrived there, so I decided to continue with daily day care. I have complete peace of mind knowing Luna's safe and happy while I'm at work. Now, 7 months later, I can say with confidence they're the most trustworthy caretakers for animals I have ever met - they sincerely are in this business because they love and care about the happiness, healthiness, Â and safety of all animals they cross paths with. In addition to that, Janet and Theresa both have been so accommodating and flexible. I literally just dropped Luna off last minute on my way to the airport, which was unplanned, and Theresa/Janet were there to greet us right away. I met Theresa and Janet 8 months ago during my search for a dog walker. They are truly the best people I have met since moving to this area. They are amazing in the way they take care of my dog! They were able to accommodate Mocha last minute (for 3 days! ) when I had complications from foot surgery. Not only did Theresa pick up/drop off Mocha, but checked in on me daily! Best buddies is an amazing place for boarding your pet. We boarded our cat Tiki when my husband and I went for vacation. My cat loved Theresa from the very beginning and she seemed happy and playful when we went to pick her up. I was worried since it was the first time to board our cat but all my worries went away when Tiki and us meet Theresa. Hands down, the best place in Brooklyn for daycare, boarding, and dog walks. Theresa & Janet have become family to me and my dog, Mocha. They are always around to help out, even with hours notice. They always provides regular updates when I'm out of town so I know how Mocha is doing. They go above and beyond with care and even provide every day update on on walks as well! This place is the best place to keep your pets safe and happy whether it's leaving them for day care or overnight stays. Me and my husband had a scare with my doggy Stewie and he was hospitalized for a few days. He needed several medications and required a lot of attention. We were supposed to go on vacation and stew was looking better but still needed assistance. So we decided that the only way we could go is to keep him with people we trust. We decided to have him stay with my best buddies for a few nights. Theresa and Janet kept us updated and gave him all his meds. She even sent me pictures and told me everything he was doing lol ( which I love ). He even slept in the same bed with her and I love that he didn't have to be crated! This place is like a home with couches ,beds ,toys and a back yard and not a big facility where they don't or can't watch the dogs. I love this place and I love the people who watch my Stewie and I'm so glad I found them. I feel 100% comfortable and I know I can trust them with my Stewie. This place is the best.They treated my dogs like their own family. My dogs had all the spaces to sleep, and run around. I was concerned that might dog might wiggle out of his harness and run away so they let him out in the back for the most part and when he went in the front, he had two leashes on. They fed my dogs organic food and even washed them.I have never had better pet care in my entire life. Super highly recommend. More...

Best place to have your pet boarded. They keep you informed and up to date so you're less stressed. I would highly recommend because whenever I need a sitter or a wash for my Sam, this is my go-to place for sure!!

Love Love Love them!! Â They do an amazing job taking care of my Frankie Bear!! Â Every time I am in a jam they come to the rescue. When my Frankie was sick they helped nurse him back to life by giving him his medication daily. Â I don't know what I would have done without them. i wanted to write a review and let everyone know how great my best buddies was for my 12 year old spaniel mix sadie while we were in miami last july. we received text messages with pictures from sadie everyday. all texts that i sent to my dog were promptly returned. i never had to worrry that my sadie baby wasnt being spoiled. I highly recommend my best buddies. also they even came to pick up sadie and they even brought her home free f charge. we dont have a car so i cant tell you what a great perk that was and how much easier it made things while trying to get organized to go on vacation. Our shih-tzu had never been sat for by anyone except family so we were concerned about a large kennel environment. That's why this small storefront location in a quiet part of Bay Ridge was ideal. The dogs are very well kept and seem very happy....to the point that our shih-tzu is looking forward to his next visit! I had no one to watch my dog while away for 4 days. I have never boarded my 9 year old Dolce since I've had him and was very nervous leaving him behind in an unknown place and environment. My neighbor recommended My Best Buddies and I am thrilled that I used their services. Two lovely sisters, Teresa and Janet run the establishment. They showed me around, there was a room in the back that had access to a backyard and that's where my dog would be staying she said. During my trip I was sent updates & photos of my dog, if I had any concerns I was texted back immediately. When I asked when I could pick him up they said anytime. I had to tell them my flight didn't get in until almost midnight and they indicated that was fine since the establishment is open 24 hours. I was ecstatic! I wanted to get my guy back home and with me. Sure enough 12:30 am I arrived to get Dolce and Teresa let me in. I highly, highly recommend and plan on using them again. Thank you Teresa and Janet! This review is not actually about pet boarding, even though I am a dog owner and My Best Buddies was a great clean and very happy looking place for the two adorable dogs that were there. Â I was running a Half Marathon along Shore Parkway and the race company had a problem getting the Port o Pots delivered..it was very early Sunday morning and there was no other place for me to stop to go to the bathroom. Â There was a very very nice woman in My Best Buddies and she let me come in and use her bathroom...Such a thoughtful caring person..so often people slam the door in your face and just refuse...I live in Long Beach, NY and if I was closer to this business, I would definitely bring my dog there for boarding ..If she was that nice to me,,,,I am sure she takes great care of the dogs More...

Outstanding!Left my 2 puppies for multiple straight days while I was away and needed help. This is a family owned business and they take care of your pets as their own. They are very caring and you can tell they love what they do. Best part is, if you are against caging your pet, they will absolutely not cage them and let them hang with other dogs/cats as long as they are friendly (I have 2 very friendly Shihtzu's). They will send you text message updates throughout the day and send you pictures which is great. If you are in the neighborhood or even if your not I highly recommend this place and feel absolutely safe and confident with leaving my puppies here.Thanks so much My Best Buddies, you will definitely be seeing Slime and Zeppelin in the future again.P.S. they are their 24 hours!! Left our pooch for the day here when visiting friends in Brooklyn. Â They were wonderful with him and gave him such care! Â We even took advantage of their pet bathing area and gave him a bath before heading home - so much more convenient and less hassle than doing it at home!
