I have used muslim marriage events whatsapp group for myself in the past but I was unable to find myself a life partner.
In my personal experience the demands of the men in this group are too high and they themselves do not bring anything to the table, which is why I decided to find my life partner in another way, and left this group.
I now have a friend who’s parents have recently joined this WhatsApp group to find her a life partner. She has told me that she was disgusted with the behaviour of some of the men on this group. I felt the same way when I was on this group, as some of the men and families have no morals or respect and do not understand how families should be approached in accordance to Islam.
My friend met a family, in which the mother of the boy till today has saved pictures of all the girls she has seen from this group chat, and has sat down and picked out faults in those girls. My friend was absolutely shocked to see this type of behaviour which is why my friend then refused to continue getting to know this family any further. She also mentioned that the man she was introduced to didn’t even have an intention to get married, he was just wasting time. My friend slowly analysed his behaviour and realised that he was lying, he constantly bragged about how big of a house he has made for himself, and he just chased money day and night. She has now caught the ick and has lost faith in this group chat.
My friend is a very gentle and caring individual who would never write this review, and share her experience as she has too much love and respect for Alisha and Mo. However, I wanted to write this review so people become aware that some of the men and parents on this WhatsApp group chat are trash! They do not have traditional Asian morals or values, and they certainly do not know how to respectfully approach a girls family. It is best to be as careful as possible, avoid giving you pictures to the men in these group chat as you do not know how they pick out faults in pictures and where they forward these pictures to.
I would like to emphasise that Mo and Alisha are both genuine, honest, individuals working very hard to help people find their perfect match. However the clients (men) and the parents in this WhatsApp groups are requesting to see pictures of girls, it’s as if they only want to see how a girl looks and do not want to meet her in person when they are given the option to do so. A lot of the men in this group and their parents are treating this as a game. This isn’t a dating group. It is a group in which parents respectfully speak to each other, in accordance to Islam and halal meetings should be arranged for a man and woman to meet each other in the presence of their families.
In my experience this group chat was pointless for me, I am hoping that my friend and others in this group chat are successful in finding a partner for themselves.

The organisers were great..catered to each individuals needs and realised how nervous we were and really went the extra mile to make it comfortable and faciliate with connections. went to one of their events recently and it was really good. The organisers are nice, and they genuinely do seem to want to help people find eachother. I met a few nice sisters there and am talking to one at the moment I encouraged a friend to go to the next one which is one for medical professionals (she's a radiographer) but when she went to check ticket price, it was 75 per head (being held at same location as previous non-medical events where each person paid 45 per head)... not sure if it's because there are less people attending so they have to cover costs? it does say that they have to do extra checks to ensure each attendee is actually a registered medical proffessional but honestly this takes a few minutes to do online by visiting the register of each proffessional body and wouldn't justify the £30 price difference. I would like to say a big thank you to the orgainisers.well structured and organised .venue was lovely.The event itself was delayed due to late arrivals which the organisers handled very well. I would say the age range was not suitable for us .Maybe the age ranges need to be say between 21-30 then maybe 30+.i appreciate the fact that organisers cannot predict who signs up but 21-35 is a very broad range.Also the ratio of female to male was not equal.I would like to say big thank you to Alisha for the extra time she gave us even though she was very busy.Well worth going for the experience and it is another avenue of finding a partner.Thank you More...

- overall experience was good - layout and organisation was great- organisers were very helpful and would try their hardest to help you and encourage you to talk to people - a good amount of time was given for the 1:1s- a toilet break half way through the rotations would have been nice - the longer break was not quite long enough and everyone was rushing - a lot of time was spent on the paperwork at the start - if done online, the event could have started quickerOverall it was a good event and I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for an alternative way of finding a spouse.

Very well organised, a lot of fun, definitely would go again. Perhaps a venue with parking facilties would be best going forward, although the closest car park was quite cheap, just 2 pounds from 12.00 till 17.50 on a Saturday.

The organisers made a good effort in bringing people together.The venue was also tidy and convenient with ample parking. My accompanying family member also felt comfortable.General improvements could have included to try to allow more time with at least one break for a tea/coffee in between the table rotations. This would also allow time for reflection too.It was somewhat tiring for everyone to talk with a lot of background noise on an empty stomach. So some sort of a break would have helped to reduce what for some could easily become a stressful experience amongst strangers.Nonetheless I give this a 5 star review mainly based on the organiser's efforts, intentions, and choice of venue. I've attended a few of the these events held by the same organisers. The event held in London was a good venue. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The ratio of men and women was great. Got to speak to a lot of individuals from different back ground of their profession. I would definantly attended another event held by the same organisers as my search is still on going and recommend it to others who are seriously searching for a life partner.As for the people who arrived late. As a single male looking to get married I attend a variety of Muslim marriage events. I have always found Alisha and Mo to be extremely professional and polite hosts and the event itself is well structured and organised. At some events the rotations can include a large number of men and women - this can prove to be quite daunting for people especially those who are less confident. These guys keep the groups to 2/3 males and 2/3 females per table and that helps to promote a more natural, low key and relaxed atmosphere.
