AVOID REDONE MUSIC IN DORVAL, QUEBEC. I BOUGHT A GUITAR LISTED AS AVAILABLE ONLINE ONLY TO RECEIVE A CALL A DAY OR TWO LATER AND I WAS TOLD THE GUITAR I BOUGHT ACTUALLY HAD TO BE BUILT AND THE PROCEES WOULD TAKE UP TO 10-12 MONTHS! ! THAT DIFFERS GREATLY FROM "AVAILABLE ONLINE ". THE CONVINCED ME TO WAIT BUT I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS AT ALL. I FOUND THE EXACT SAME GUITAR IN STOCK AND READY TO SHOP FROM A DIFFERENT DEALER SO NATURALLY, I CANCELED MY ORDER WITH REDONE MUSIC. IN TURN THEY KEFT $522 FROM MY REFUND AS SOME BULLSHIT RESTOCKING FEE OR HOWEVER THEY CHOOSE TO WORD IT. THE GUITAR IS NOT EVEN BUILT SO WHAT AM I BEING CHARGED $522 FOR? A warning to anyone shopping online:
Don't order from here if you want to be certain your order will arrive in 3-4 months or less, regardless of what the website says or what their customer service promises!
Here's what happened to me:
In the first week of June, I ordered around 10 cables that came out to over $200 with free shipping as it's over $200 pre tax. They charged my card immediately, and all items I ordered said the processing+shipping time was 1-2 days, or 1-2 weeks depending on the item so I didn't think much as they clearly had this displayed on their website, and on the invoice I received. I was fine waiting 1-2 weeks. The prices were good, and in hindsight, they were too good. the cables I wanted were hard to find locally, and cost much more than RedOne was selling them for.
The next day their customer support (Stephan J) reached out to me, and said "actually all items are now 2-3 weeks or 6 to 8 weeks waiting time, sorry!". I told them, "okay remove the items that will take 6-8 weeks, I cannot wait that long for these products and I'll have to buy them locally. I cannot afford adding shipping on the items though, so please don't add it due to your mistakes" He removed the items and I received an updated invoice. He added shipping charges to the order! It was only $10, but it put the cost up per item and I really couldn't afford the extra cost on top of buying the items locally at a higher price. I asked him politely to remove this charge, as the shipping was added because their site and invoice was falsely claiming the items would arrive sooner, and with the removed item, it came out to slightly less than $200. I thought that it was reasonable for them to eat the shipping cost because of their mistake, but RedOne was not going to budge.
They fought on it for a week and at one point I was condescendingly told "If you want me to erase the shipping fees, you will have to pick that order in our store in Montreal.
let me know if that works for you! " (yes this is the actual quote), knowing full well I was in a different province. At that point I said he was being unprofessional, and I no longer would like to do business with RedOne because of all the malpractices and frankly, illegal actions that were taking place by the company. "Please cancel my order and refund me my nearly $200", I said. Stephen decided at that point not to cancel my order, and instead at that point removed the $10 shipping fee.
Now I missed this email, but noticed at the end of August (TWELVE weeks since I ordered the '1-2 week lead-time' cables at that point) that I was not refunded yet. So I reached out to a different Customer Service representative (Soloman) as Stephen was not being friendly, and I asked "why my money wasn't returned after I had requested it 2.5 months earlier? Please refund my money." He said that there was no record of me asking to refund the money, but unlike Stephen, Soloman corrected the issue, and my money was refunded. Soloman is a good guy. It's fortunate RedOne has him to slightly even out the horrid practices that RedOne engages in.
So all that said, RedOne seems to be a drop shipping company, who will go against customer protection laws and credit card agreements by holding your funds when they don't even have to product (s) in hand yet. To sum it up:
-It was stated on their website that my order would take 1-2 weeks to ship out to me, and the invoice confirmed this.
- within that week, they changed the shipping time to 6-8 weeks for some of the items (but they won't ship the products separately, the whole order is held back).
- they charged my card additional fees without my permission
- I asked them to cancel my order, refund money. They didn't do either
- 12 weeks has gone by and there is still no sign of a refund, and the order is still "processing". Keep in mind this is 10 weeks longer than their product pages said they'd take to ship. Don't trust their estimates, they are over-promising and false advertising
- Don't shop here!!! You may never get your order. Shop local even if it costs more

Error after error after error after error. I confirmed what the unit came with prior to buying the 1k+ mixer. I asked for the fastest shipping and was told that any of their options would get me the mixer in 3-5 days.
I paid for fedex. When I go the notification the shipment was 'sent out', I saw that it was being shipped through their free option, where I had paid extra for the 'expedited' shipping. The shipment arrived almost 2 weeks later and fedex told me that when the order was placed that the delivery date was relayed to the shipper.
The mixer finally arrives, and it has no power cable, no USB cable, no manual, and no DVS records. I called and was amazingly able to get in touch with someone (it is a trying process). They said they would fix the issue and send the missing equipment out right away. I felt a little less sore as this agent was helpful.
But... I am looking at the shipment, and they only sent 1 DVS record, so now I have to call/email again to have this shipped out. I just don't understand.
I order a TON of things online and this has been the worst experience since before amazon existed. I will not ever purchase anything from this company again.

on Dec. 1st they told me they will be shipping the mic out within 14 days. after 3 weeks I emailed them again and they gave me some bs reply like they are "expecting it soon" and telling me to call the store for a detailed ETA. what customer service tells customer to call the store instead of providing information in writing? this was supposed to be a Christmas gift. it is now Dec. 28th. all my gifts arrived on time except for this one. if I have issues getting this refunded like the other customers I'm calling consumer services. never again. Usually pretty good but it's been over two weeks waiting for a Electric Roland PDX 100 v pad I'm upset they haven't updated me through email phone no updates unless I call and it's like I'm a burden to then so this experience hasn't been good but I still recommend them

Amazing staff and equipment, rental service is the best and buying from there has the best low prices. I remember there was a mix up with the wires and I called at 9pm for help, the manager not only helped but waited after his shift and the store closing to come get new wires at the stores for us to come get new wires. if I could give more stars I wouldI bought a a Laney Lionheart amp from them, at the lowest price I could find in Canada, which they shipped to me prompt and freeAfter a few months, The amp started making a continuous crackling noise. I contacted Music Red one and spoke to Tommy. He arranged everything with Laney distributor, told me the warranty issues would be for purchaser to ship or take the amp to the distributor and then, after repair, distributor would ship to me, so I could take it to the distributor Monday to Friday. I told him I lived in Ottawa and could go to Montreal one weekend.Tommy said I could take the amp to Music Redone on a Saturday and he would send it to the distributorAfterwards, I called a few times and to check status, all staff I talked to, Tommy, Brian, Alex, Nancy were extremely helpful and very friendly.I was later called and told the amp was ready for pickup. I told them that I was in Ottawa and I had been told that the amp would be shipped to me after repair. They looked into it and told me that the distributor had made a mistake by not shipping to me and sending to the store. They followed up with the distributor, obtained the shipping label and sent it to me.The amp is now rocking again and I cannot find enough good words to say about the level of service and professionalism of the good guys and gals at Music RedoneThank You Guys More...

Good price, good service, a nice shop with a lot of choices. Several choices of multiple mixer, instruments, speaker and more. With several price choices depending on your budget. All the employees and the management who work give you special attention, even if you are picky. But to say a secret, my favorite is James. Perhaps because he is the one who has served me more often with attention to my requests.
