I visited for the comedy night, the barman had a smile on his face for every customer and isn't afraid of a chat. If you are an act like or looking for entertainment then I'd thoroughly recommend it

Notable for its DIY ethic, Musiclounge is home to many of the area's avant-garde performers and artists. Well known for it's adventurous booking policy that embraces new talent from both around the world and from round the corner.
For artists it's the one stop shop that takes you out of your bedroom or garage and puts you in front of a supportive crowd, for fans of alternative comedy and live original music you have a great venue to meet like minded people and share a drink with the next Andy Kaufman or Vini Reilly.

Great hosts Oliver Terry and Heather Glynn, fabulous local music talent, and a venue that has so much style and class - puts to shame anywhere else for 247 miles. ..
