I ordered a picture of Millstreet, County Cork. It just arrived and it is awesome. The angle is perfect because it shows most of the town and the area beyond the town which is where my family lived.
I am very happy that the picture shows the church in town, St. Patrick’s. That is the church where my Great Grandfather, John Patrick O’Leary, was baptized. The picture is crystal clear and I cannot wait to get it framed so I can hang it on the wall in my office.
There are plenty of pictures of Irish landscapes that I could have purchased but I am thrilled I have a picture of a beautiful Irish town and landscape that I have a family connection. I am very proud of my Irish roots. Now when people come into my office I will be able to show them not just a great looking picture but a picture of the town in Ireland where my Irish roots started.
It arrived in perfect shape inside a shipping tube.
