Always wanted Ethiopian Food and wanting to try something new, we gave Mulu's a try. Although there was a Menu, we decided on the Buffet to get a taste of everything. Being our first time to eat Ethiopian, Mrs Mulu gave us a quick traditional lesson on how to use the bread as a utensil to eat the food. (Of course you can use a fork, if you choose). She explained what each item on the Buffet was as we filled our plate. The meal was Absolutely Delicious and fun to eat. The Service was excellent! I most definitely plan to return to Mulu's Ethiopian Kitchen to try different dishes from the Menu! More...

Solid food wonder service. It is missing a bit of charm, but overall a great experience
This is the best Ethiopian food I've ever had! I'm visiting from LA and I'll be coming back here every day to get my fill until the next time I visit!
I truly enjoyed dining at this restaurant! The food was seasoned well and the customer service was good! I ordered lamb with the veggie plate.
BEST Ethiopian restaurant hands-down! I’ve dined here on several occasions (ordered from the menu and have been present for the buffets). I’ve always liked Ethiopian cuisine but I’ve officially fallen in love with it from each experience at this restaurant. The owner Ms. Mulu is a sweet and beautiful soul and her food is made with love. It’s a great place to go by yourself, with a friend, or with family (a very kid-friendly atmosphere). Everytime I come to Mulu’s - it feels like home. More...
I love their food!!!!
Stopped by for the lunch buffet. Great selection of food. Since I was new to Ethiopian food, Mulu fixed my plate and explained each dish. It was like she had invited me into her home. The food was delicious. I had coffee as well and it was wonderful. I will go back again for sure. More...
The Vegetable platter was delicious. Great portions and good service.
I have never actually dined in at Mulu's. I have made several orders through Uber Eats, however. The food is consistently good. I will say the portion sizes may be considered small to some and the food is not always consistent. They substitute often, without alerting you. I have had the salmon dish, plain shiro, fish tibs, pumpkin and ginger soup, spaghetti with veggie sauce, veggie sambusa, and the veggie couscous. Everything is so delicious! The pumpkin soup really helped with my allergies (Atlanta pollen ugh!) This is one of my favorite places to order from. It's also refreshing to have some ethnic food in this area. More...

Dined at Mulu’s over the weekend. It was our first visit. We were greeted at the door by Mulu (herself). She was very warm & welcoming. Restaurant is very spacious & clean. We ordered Veggie Sambusa (Appetizer). It was very good. The sauce that comes w/it was awesome! For our entrée, we had the Lamb Tibs & the Veggie Combo. It was very good. Flavorful, fresh ingredients. They take pride in their dishes & it shows! Dishes are served “family style”. Mulu’s offers a homemade Honey Wine. It was very good ... different. This was my first experience w/Ethiopian cuisine. Mulu took time to explain the dishes & how they are presented. Vegetarian & vegan friendly! We will definitely visit again! More...
When I first came to the restaurant I was a bit timid. It was new and when I got inside it wasn’t packed. But then comes Mulu with her positive energy and great spirit and encourage me to eat. I decided on the Veggie Combo and sambusa with a Ethiopian honey wine. She served me personally and it was one of the best meals I had in a long time, food was seasoned great, great portion, great price. Overall great service! I hope more people find This gem! More...
The food was delicious, and the people working there were really nice! It was a great experience.
The food here is indeed excellent! Everything is quality I come here often. Homemade is the speciality here. Mulu is superb.
I absolutely love Ethiopian food and was really excited to find this location close to home. I finally decide to stop in today being that they have a buffet Monday through Friday until 3. The buffet is a great price at $8.99 and they have quite a few items on the menu. For example, they have shiro, Doro Wot and many other great items. Also, the injera is made there. That is definitely a plus. I was informed that the meat changes daily but they have the same vegetables daily. The food is made to order, so be prepared to wait or either call the food in ahead of time. They also utilize GrubHub and some other food delivery services. The staff is very friendly. I definitely plan to return. More...
Wowzers! I am a true critic when it comes to Ethiopian Cuisine and with that said THIS FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! TRUE AUTHENTIC ETHIOPIAN FOOD Amazing service, a very homey feel, pretty personsble warm friendly just overall see wonderful experience I will definitely be back.

I love the welcoming & personable service! I enjoyed the veggie platter. My friend, who was eating Ethiopian food for the first time, devoured the awaze beef tibs! We will be back soon.
Highly recommend! Buffet was great! Service was top notch!
Awesome service and food. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. We will be back!
Food was fantastic and the staff were incredibly kind. I've never had ethiopian food before this but now that I have my mind is blown and im eager to return.
Enjoyed the buffet.
Good food. Friendly service
The food was fantabulous!!! I had the lamb which was exceptionally excellent! And the bread served with the meal was wonderful!! Not everyone cooks their bread the same. I've had it at other Ethiopian restaurants and it tasted fermented but not this place!! The owner is very nice and accommodating, the service was great!! The price was high for my pockets but I'll be coming back when I want to treat myself. Thank you for sharing your culture with us!! More...
Ethiopian food interesting and delightful find in Fayetteville. Check it out.
Very friendly atmosphere and the buffet is excellent if you like to try the different dishes without committing to just one.

My family and I have been here twice. We ordered: Veggie Sambusa, Chicken Sambusa, Lamb Tibs, Beef Tibs, FirFir, Doro Wot and Spaghetti (for our young daughter). If you're interested in trying a new experience, stepout your comfort zone and consider Mulu's Ethiopian Kitchen! We enjoyed ourselves and will come return! More...
great service and great food. our server was excellent with us and our needs and even the cook came out to see how our lunch was. 2 thumbs up
First time taster! After a good fitness workout, the food was light and refreshing. We'll be back to try other dishes. The owner was friendly and the waiter was thorough in explaining the various dishes. Impressive!
The veggie combo and pumpkin ginger soup are amazing. I especially love the shiro! So glad to have authentic Ethiopian on the side of town!
That veggie combo plate is amazing, and the lamb tips and beef tips were delicious, as were the samubsas, and I could eat that tomato salad all day. I'm so happy we have a new Ethiopian restaurant nearby — the service was warm and so friendly, and the food was delicious. So excited that they opened in Fayette County. Thank you, Mulu! Please save me a green t-shirt, I love it. :) More...
Very happy that Mulu's opened in Fayetteville. We visited on Mother's Day, and it was a very good experience. We had the Timatim Fitfit appetizer, and then shared the beef tibs and the veggie combo platter. Took a little while to get used to using the injera 'bread' as our utensils. Finished with a strong coffee. Before we left, we had a nice conversation with Mulu, the owner. Next time we may try the lamb or fish tibs, and the Doro Wot stew and the Sambusa pastry appetizer. More...
Thoroughly enjoyed myself at Mulu's. The owner/chef introduced herself and recommended the chicken sambusa appetizer that came with her newly created special sauce (I was instantly hooked on both). For mains my bf and I got the lamb tibs and the veggie meal, but I must admit that, for us, the lamb stole the show. All staff was kind, environment was relaxed. Will go back! More...

We had the best time at lunch. the food was so full of flavor and spices and it was fun to share together as a family. Chef Mulu, herself, came out and we enjoyed her traditions and generosity. Ended the meal with amazing freshly roasted (as in, while we ate our meal) coffee. We will be back! More...
The place is very nice and clean. Big enough to make a birthday party food is good if you love to try different kind of food from a country that is not yours. I give 4 start because I was expecting beside the good food also, pictures on the walls from their country. The restaurant is super big. But....... looks to empty lonely when is not to many people inside. I went with my husband and my little nephew and we have to wait for the food to be cook about 20 mts. When we was waiting for the food, we looked around and we was getting bored enough to want to leave the place. Will be nice a big flat screen tv with some Etiopía videos about the tradicional food and culture, or something to watch and get entertainment until the food get ready! I might be go back for the lamb. More...
Fantastic food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere! We had the beef tibs and the veggie combo. Everything was delicious, and there was a lot of food. It was so good that we kept eating past the time we were full. Mulu told us about the food and how it was prepared. She was a gracious host. Highly recommended! More...

Fantastic little buffet. The owner cooks the food herself and it's well worth the visit. Will go again.
Visited Mulu's for the lunch buffet and had an excellent experience. The food was great and had the pleasure of meeting chef Mulu who puts pride and care into every one of the dishes served. Would definitely recommend
Wonderful service, wonderful food, definitely recommend coming by
I really enjoyed my dinner here. I can't wait to go back.

The food is great and 3 minutes from my Boutique, My Favorite Things., now I dont have to drive to the northside of town to eat Ethiopian food.
The food is tasty and the owner is most personable. Love having more choices from different cultures and countries in the area.
Lucky me to locate this gem of a restaurant on this side of town. Best authentic Ethiopian cuisine available in Fayetteville. Guest are greeted with friendly, prompt customer service. Pricing is reasonable for portions provided. Good spot for my lunch crowd. More...
Hospitality plus! This was our first time trying Ethiopian cuisine & chose the best restaurant to visit. Mulu's is wonderful. The owner, Mulu came to our table & showed us the proper way to eat our meal. Our waitress was informative & charming. Our questions were answered and recommendations were given. I chose the plain shiro which i highly recommend. It is an aromatic vegetarian stew. We also shared the Vegetable Sambusa, Tomato salad & ayib bemitmita to start. The Vegetable Sambusa is a pastry filled with perfectly cooked lentils, cilantro & jalapenos. The tomato salad is fresh veggies in a light vinaigrette. Ayib bemitmita is a scrumptious spicy cheese dip served with homemade Ethiopian bread. My husband had the beef tibs for his main which he throughly enjoyed. This is an A+++ dining experience & we will be back. More...
You should come here. That Ethiopian food hasn't caught on more in the US is perhaps understandable, but it's a shame nonetheless. The warm spices, diversity between meat and vegetarian, and naturally gluten-free bread are all selling points. Add to that the friendly and attentive service at Mulu's Ethiopian Kitchen and this should definitely be on your to-do list.Come between 11:30 and 2:30 and there is a lunch special for $10. Highly recommended. More...
Great example of Ethiopian food! The staff was nice and even the owner/cook Mulu herself came out to speak to us and answered our questions. I highly recommend this place!
Good was amazing, and the service was awesome too! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner after our meal, and we loved her. I will be back soon!!
Amazing, authentic Ethiopian cuisine. Go on Sunday and get fresh roasted coffee.
Had the Beef Tibs, Veggie Platter, and Doro Wot. It was all excellent! Service was Great and very polite.
Good service. Good food. Reasonable price.
Beautifully flavorful experience...Full of AUTHENTIC TRADITIONAL delicious dishes .The best everMulu the poster child of genuine hospitality...very accommodating
Food was great. The owner is very friendly. We will be back soon.
Stellar Food. Stellar Waitstaff. Stellar Experince. Ethiopian cuisine is also amazing because it has options for the carnivore, vegetarian, and vegan in your family. Mulu's Ethiopian Kitchen is an amazing restaurant for anyone who likes a flavorful and well-seasoned dinner. I had the vegetarian sambusa (similar to samosas) which came with a vinagearette that had just enough of everything to tickle the tastebuds. As my meal I had the Doro Wot, a chicken stew served over their housemade injera - and the portions are great. I can confidentally say that you will want to come back for a meal again.Check it out! The food is absolutely wonderful the wait staff is great I will definitely come back Often !!!!!
Well, it’s my first experience with Ethiopian food but it was really good. I had lamb tibs, a veggie combo and chicken sambusas. It was enough for two. I’ll be back! More...
OMG! I loved everything I ordered! I will be back with family and friends soon! Outstanding Ethiopian food and service! I recommend the lamb tips
Excellent Ethiopian! The Doro Wot was fantastic!!
The staff was very kind and accommodating. The food is delicious and authentic. My family loved it and are happy to see more cultured cuisine come to Fayetteville!!!!
The waitstaff was really nice and the owner of the restaurant, Mulu, came and greeted me and my family personally! The atmosphere was great, but the one flaw they had is that the wait was soooooo long. We waited 25 minutes for the food and we were the only ones there! But, when the food came, it was heavenly. There were pieces of bread that you could dip into a bunch of different things, including meats, vegetables, sauces, corn, so basically everything you can think of! I’ve never tried any African food, much less Ethiopian food, but it was one of the best meals I’ve had in my life. Me and my family really ventured out to eat at this place, but it was an awesome choice. They completely made up for the wait with the food. I would definetly come back here and would strongly recommend anybody to go to this restaurant. More...
Mulu's has very fresh food, I never been to an Ethiopian restaurant and will explain to others the uniqueness. Your food comes with a pancake base that the other items are placed on. This makes the meal a finger food snacking situation. You rip off pieces of the pancake and use it to cradle and grab the entree items, this keeps your hand clean and makes it easy to pick up the items. I am sure silverware is an option but opting out gives you an authentic experience. The chef came out at the end and made sure she gave her personal thanks for us attending her newly opened restaurant. She was great. Enjoy! More...
Excellent food! Staff and owner super kind!
Sooo glad to finally have an Ethiopian restaurant on the south side of Atlanta! Mulu's is amazing. Mulu's herself and her staff are just the sweetest. The ingredients were very fresh and high quality. Fairly simplified menu makes it more accessible to those unfamiliar with Ethiopian food. You can't go wrong, it's all amazing! More...
Try chicken sambussa appetizer. ! So delicious and could eat every day .. atmosphere is perfect Ethiopia feel , Mrs Mulu and staff are quite sweet. Downside is due to small staff the wait is very long, but not due to their negligence they just need more help in the kitchen . I give 5 star because it taste like homemade food from Ethiopia with high scale flavors and Mulu explained every dish to us . Is was a great experience only negative is the wait. But I fixed that problem just by calling in my order previous to arrival More...

Myself and the individuals who I had lunch with were new to the flavors of the cuisine and methods on how it must be eaten. Our waitress was incredibly thoughtful with informing us on what to do.We tried the Chicken Sambusa, Doro Wot, Bozena Shiro, Grilled Salmon with tomato salad and roasted Ethiopian coffee. We all were pleased with the dishes served! To top off our experience, Chef/Owner Mulu came to warmly greet us and to personally make sure we were pleased with our visit. Chef Mulu and staff are just lovely people and we all are thankful. We will be returning to try other items on the menu. More...
