We rescued a very stressed & reactive GSD from Battersea. We obviously needed help with helping her to destress and socialise happily. As Clare and Andy had looked after our previous GSD we turned to them for help and guidance. Many training groups would have turned us away as Lolly barked and lunged at anything and everybody who came near. Exercises were set up especially for us while the other dogs were training, and gradually with the help of the Muddy Mutleys team Lolly was able to join the main class, she even does agility, albeit in her own style. Clare has given a huge amount of time to help Lolly, she set up individual Dog Yoga classes for us and prepared exercises for us to practice at home.Thanks to all at Muddy Mutleys we now have a much less reactive, happier,more confident dog.We are indebted to them for all the care and help with our dog who was dumped on the streets and had stress levels off the scale.I have and always will recommend Clare and Muddy Mutleys . We have used many of the services offered by Muddy Mutleys; the training, day care, walking and boarding options and have always been truly impressed by Clare and Andy. Flossie stayed for a week this summer and we were completely confident that she was being extremely well cared for whilst we enjoyed our holiday. I have a German shepherd who has behavioural issues around other dogs which made walking him frustrating and unenjoyable. Since meeting Clare i cannot be more happy ! I am now able to walk in the dog park and able to keep him under control using all the training methods and tips Clare has shown me. Clare was absolutely fantastic from start to finish when helping with training. She came round and met our dog and outlined clearly where the issues were and what needed to be done. After through research into dog trainers in the Enfield area I stumbled across Muddy Mutleys it was a brilliant 1-2-1 consultation with Clare about my two yorkies who have problems with other dogs on the lead and barking, Clare really does love her job it shines through her, she gives good advice which works, I've already seen improvement in my two dogs in such a short time, she gave me more confidence with them, I would definately recommend Clare because she is honest with me, she didnt try and sell me loads of courses or anything, im looking forward to more sessions with her and with group activities for dogs.

Clare came to our house yesterday to do a puppy visit. This lady knows her stuff! Within seconds she had our puppy obeying her and showed us techniques and strategies to get the best out of our dog. All done in such a positive way you can't help but agree her methods work. I didn't even have to take notes (I have to write everything down!!!). I approached Clare due to my dog suffering severely from separation anxiety, along with behavioural problems with other dogs. I was genially at a lost with what I could do and had tried other trainers which only made matters worse. Meeting Clare and completing 121 was an absolute Godsend!After the initial consultation with Clare I had understanding as to why my dog was acting the way he was. Furthermore Clare also gave me peace of mind, reassuring me that his issues were resolvable.We carried out several 121's and in the first session I already noticed a huge change - my dog walking next to Clare's dog with NO signs of aggression. Clare and Andy have been so helpful right from the start with our little Woody! They truly are amazing... always ready to help and give you useful advices for you and your pooch. Clare and Andy are the team have been great for us. Clare is fearless no dog issues put her off and she sees through the behaviour to the dog underneath! Dog training session are really interesting and fun as they are outdoors in a closed section of the park, and Clare is always on hand for one to one help as well as group sessions. Clare helped me so much with a consultation with our two year old dog. He was starting to run up to other dogs and jump on them - very uncharacteristic. And he'd ignore me when I called him back. I asked for Clare's help with my 5 year old lab Archie who is reactive on lead and has other fear-related issues. Clare analysed his entire history and devised a plan which has had an immediate positive effect on turning Archie's behaviour around, helping him regain his confidence and reduce stress. She is incredibly patient, smart, experienced, sensitive and a lot of fun. Archie immediately responded to Clare and we both really enjoy working with her. I'm almost sorry he's improving so quickly as I would love to work with her much longer! Her insights were very straightforward and 100% spot on. I have known Clare for ages, my wheaten terrier puppy Hubble has been looked after daily by Clare since he was 12 weeks old. Clare came highly recommendedYou have to be very careful when you choose people to let them in your home or deliver them to daycare. I honestly would recommend Clare and the Muddy Mutleys team after all, they are looking after my best friend. Clare is brilliant, first of all she loves dogs, she really loves all dogs and it is not just a job. Clare is also a trainer and behaviourist, and is constantly updating her knowledge. Flossie, my very bouncy Labrador puppy and I been attending Muddy Mutleys puppy training classes with Claire and using the dog walking service. I can only say it's been a god-send. Flossie has done brilliantly with the insightful support and guidance Claire has provided. Claire is great at listening carefully to any issues you may have and then coming up with individualised plans and pointers for helping train and manage these. We were really struggling with jumping up and generally being overly excitable, pulling on the lead etc. All Claire's advice has paid off and Flossie is a real pleasure to walk now. She doesn't pull, walks happily and calmly off-lead, has a great re-call and doesn't jump up unsuspecting passers-by anymore! which is such an improvement. Flossie also loves her walks with Claire and I think these have also really helped her socialisation with other dogs and consolidated all her training. Contacted Clare very soon after we brought home our 2 boisterous giant breed puppies. She came to our home for a 1-1 visit and gave us lots of tips, advice and reassurance. We've just completed our first puupy training course and look forward to continuing with the next level. Clare's a great teacher and the dogs love her. She has also looked after them in day care and overnight; most recently taking them in at very short notice due to a family bereavement. Recommended by our neighbour we needed a dog walker for our rescue dog, but Claire mentioned she did training and we could not be happier. Our dog Dobby has had three homes (we are the fourth) and no training, but since we starting working with Claire the improvement is amazing we took him off lead last week for the first time and he came back!! There are many reasons why Muddy Mutely's is a great choice for dog owners but one of the main reasons is Clare and her lovely family. They provide the perfect confidence building environment to gain trust and results with your dog. Each session is a great chance not only for your dog to learn but also to socialise which is an important part of development. Clare, the owner of Muddy Mutleys was recommended to me because of the new addition of a puppy to our family of five. We called her Lady, because she looks like Lady from Lady and the Tramp. Lady is a pleasant and happy puppy, but had a need to be trained. We had issues with object guarding, over excitement which lead to jumping up and biting everything in sight if she was left alone. Clare helped us to overcome these challenges in a very short space of time. We had a one to one session by sharing our concerns and Clare addressed each concern with a solution. We are continuing to attend the group sessions as these provide a lot of interest for Lady, creating a fun and stimulating environment, plus helping her to learn obedience around other dogs. I haven't used a dog trainer before and was expecting Barbara Woodhouse. Nothing like her (thankfully) Muddymutleys has become a favourite activity for my dog on Saturdays All the other dogs are friendly and their owners enthusiastic towards the tasks Clare sets out. We got our dog from Battersea with no former history but with Clare's help and professional guidance our dogs whole behaviour has calmed down and shown how easy you can help your pets relationship flourish.A family environment is encouraged with members of Clare's own family in regular attendance. There are lots of dog trainers out there but not many like Claire of Muddy Mutleys. Claire KNOWS dogs. She is fully qualified through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers and she is so knowledgable and patient and loves the dogs she works with. My family and I have been using Clare Grierson of Muddy Mutleys for doggy day care since October 2014 for our cockerpoo, Rolo. We got our dog from Battersea in October. Unfortunately we missed the training sessions that started in November. After searching around and asking other dog owners we found Claire of Muddymutleys and gave her a call. I had never been to a dog trainer before and thought that they were all like Barbara Woodhouse well I could not be further from the truth. The training is simple (even for me) the other dogs are great and friendly and as for the trainer Claire she is attentive and very observant and shows you how to improve all aspects of your life with your dog. Training days are well presented and very family orientated with Claire encouraging all the family to attend including her own whom regularly join in. You can see improvement in all the dogs at training every week from very young pups to elder rescue dogs like my own. Clare is amazing, she has wonderful enthusiasm and energy and really loves dogs. She's been helping me with my 10 month old Cockerpoo for a while now, I'd been having problems walking him and letting him off the lead but she has been so patient with both Rudi and me and has given me confidence and Rudi now gets lots of exercise and consequently is better behaved. As he's a very excitable puppy, Clare is also working on socialising him with other dogs which is really paying off. Claire from Muddy Mutleys have been doing dog training in Bury Lodge Park, Enfield since November organized by Friends of Bury Lodge Park. They started with only 2/3 dogs and now after 6 months almost 20 dogs and owners attend classes. Its held in an out door environment so there are many more distractions for the dogs and owners to contend with. Everyone wants a well controlled and friendly dog in parks so perfect. I have just recently adopted a lively, lovely and joyful working cocker spaniel called Bodhi. Since getting him home he has been an absolute joy but I wanted to get tips on encouraging good behavoir, how to train recall and keeo him generally safe. I sent an e-mail to clare and consequently arranged a 121 session at my house. Clare provided us with excellent training and behavoir tips which have made me feel more confident in what I am doing.
