I have only visited once and this was for my baby shower in August 2018. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure the day was special and ran smoothly. The food was delicious and the choice of cakes is unbelievable. The building is beautiful and decorated so tastefully and like a real tearoom. Had a voucher bought for my birthday , me and my husband went yesterday , we were made welcome as soon as we entered , we were shown to our table in lovely surroundings, we had the indulgence afternoon teas which were delicious, I would highly recommend to anyone . Will definitely be back

Took my mum and dad here on mothers day, all of us absolutely loved it.
We had the indulgent afternoon tea, every part of it was lovely!
The cakes were all amazing, it was a massive struggle to pick one, went with the double chocolate and was not disappointing.

I bought my friend an afternoon tea gift voucher for her birthday, we visited 2 weeks ago. All I can say is WOW it was a first time visit for us both and definitely won't be our last! I ordered my daughter's birthday cake and I can only describe it as amazing... it was a chocolate sponge which was unbelievably moist with butter cream filling and topping. . I'm 2 days in from picking up the cake and it's still as moist as the day I picked it up.
Will only be coming here for cakes in the future,

An afternoon tea voucher was bought for me and my fiancée for Xmas by our 12 yr old daughter, we went yesterday, what a lovely quaint tea room, the staff where lovely , came to the table and offered us the choice of 3 sandwiches, choice of scones, choice of cake and also various teas, we had lovely sandwiches (chicken, egg, and ham) they were gorgeous, we then had a plain scone and cherry scone with jam and clotted cream mmmmmm, a few lovely teas from or old antique teapot, then a massive piece of Victoria sandwich cake which was beautiful , all topped off with strawberries dipped in chocolate , we was absolutely stuffed but what a fantastic afternoon out with an amazing snack , thank you and will be recommending this little quaint gem of a place to everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Just lovely every time we go! Most recently i came with my mum who is gluten free so she usually has to miss out on these sorts of treats. Mrs Lyons is very accommodating of food allergies and she got to enjoy it as much as I did- you wouldn’t have known the difference! A pleasant afternoon out and everything you would expect when you think of tea rooms, floral prints, tablecloths, cups and saucers.
The staff were very friendly and helpful with making a choice from the menu.
The sandwich I ordered was delicious, kid not so impressed with bubble tea don't let that put you off.

My daughter and son-in-law bought me a afternoon indulgent tea for two as a Christmas gift. I went today 29th December. My advice go with an empty stomach! !! The food was plentiful with the most tasty mix of freshly prepared sandwiches, warm cherry scones with jam and cream and fresh strawberries. There was more than enough tea served in a quaint teapot with the loveliest cups and saucers and the cutest little spoons. The two pieces of fresh cakes on the top tier along with chocolate dipped straw berries finished us off. I almost forgot to mention the shortbread biscuits. The attention to detail of making this a totally enjoyable experience was second to none. It is probably a good idea to book a table as it gets quite busy. Will definitely go again. More...
