This Kennel is AMAZING. We had to recently board our Lab Retriever, Beau, long term during a deployment (They offer great rates and discount for long term boarding) and our dog was taken care of so well. The owner was always prompt when giving updates and so kind and helpful. Our dog had a spacious kennel and copious amounts of land to run around on. At previous kennel locations, you could tell he was unhappy upon pick up (lost weight, fur missing from chewing on himself, etc), but this time his coat was shiny and full, he hadnt lost weight and he was so comfortable around everyone who worked there. Definitely recommend Marsh Run Kennels to anyone in the Hagerstown, Waynesboro, Chambersburg area. It is the best pricing and the best home away from home for Doggos. More...

I am so blessed to have found Marsh Run Kennels! I boarded three dogs there for the first time over the long Columbus Day 2019 Holiday Weekend and we have found our new weekend spot for them for sure. One of my dogs is a nervous boarder and another has his own set of "issues", however after speaking with them I knew they could handle pretty much anything my pack brought their way. They took the time to get to know my dogs individually and that means the world to me knowing they were staying in an environment where they were going to be given the care and attention they needed. I loved seeing the pictures posted of my guys having fun out in their yard and my dogs seemed very happy and comfortable there. Thank you Marsh Run!!! I went on vacation and had to leave my dog for the first time. I was so anxious about it but after speaking with Marsh Run several times, I knew they would definitely take care of my baby. They answered all of my questions every time I called and made leaving him there much easier. I was able to communicate while on vacation as well to check up on him. The prices were great and my dog had a good time. I feel much better about leaving him now that I know there's a place that will always take care of him if I need to leave him for a few days. My dog Oakley loves going back to MRK to see his mom and dad. The staff at MRK do a great job taking care of him each time and they also take an interest in how he is doing when he’s not at MRK by looking at our pictures and videos on social media.

My boyfriend and I have been working with Betsy and Bart for well over a year now and we have never had a bad experience! We purchased one of their Black Bear GSD puppies and she is the absolute love of our lives . We visit their facility frequently for all our training, doggy daycare, and boarding needs! Love this place, I know when we go on vacation our dogs are being well taken care of. We own 2 big dogs and its hard to find someone to come to the house to watch the dogs this is the second year that Marsh Run has watched our dogs for us and I can tell they are well taken care of and they have a lot of fun in the yard. In July I took my Grand Dane to Marsh Run Kennels this was the first time Molly has ever been away from home or me Betsy was the greatest she inshore me everything would be ok now she was there from Friday till Sunday morning I texted everyday to check on her and i was texted right back or within the half hour she even took a picture of her and Molly now I can honestly say she will go back if we go alway again Top of the line kennel owner and staff was great very clean and dog friendly So if you are looking for a kennel for your dog Marsh Run Kennel is the place you can feel at ease knowing your dog is being loved and taken very well care

I can’t say enough good things about this kennel! You can see the love and attention they put into each dog they have there. When I picked up my dog from leaving her with them for the night she was so happy and full of life just like she is at home which is exactly what I wanted. It was like she had her very own little weekend getaway. It was important I found someone who put forth the same love and attention I do with my dog! I just got home with my two dogs after they spent a little over two days at Marsh Run kennels. I went to a local Facebook group in my town asking if anyone knew of a great kennel to take my dogs. Over half of the responses we're people raving about this kennel. There must have been at least a dozen people trying to convince me to go there. From the very beginning I was impressed with this place. They got my dogs in with only a couple days notice and we're extremely accommodating to their needs. They even educated me on a couple of things that I was having trouble with, which was very much appreciated.the drop-off procedure was simple but thorough, and they made sure that I had all my paperwork in order and understood exactly what was going on. I didn't leave until my dogs were comfortably in their kennel and had water waiting for them. I left there with a good feeling, and being a mom that means something. When I arrived at the kennel today to pick them up they were taking a nap alongside a couple of other dogs in the same room. When I walked in the room they just looked up at me very calmly and then of course started barking when they realized who it was. But my point is that they were not stressed out or upset in any way. They were sleeping on comfy blankets and seemed very content. They both had food and water and their kennels were very clean. They had been out for a morning walk a couple of hours ago and when we were on the way to the car I noticed that they only peed a little bit. Their bladders were not full and they did not have to poop. That told me they had been out for a sufficient amount of time and within a reasonable amount of time from when I picked them up. I didn't call before I came to ensure that this was not a setup. I'd had a bad experience with a different kennel a couple of years ago and was hesitant to take my dogs to another one. But necessity caused me to have to do it, and now I'm glad I did. This will make vacation plans and family emergencies much easier to deal with, knowing that I can call Betsy and she will take care of my babies. They're actually going back on Thursday because I have a family issue to deal with. It takes so much stress away knowing that they will be well cared for while I'm gone. If anything goes differently on our next visit I will update my review. But I have a feeling that's not going to be necessary. By the way, the grounds are beautiful and very secure. My dogs are very high maintenance. I have 4 that are my babies. They get moist food on their dry food two times a day plus two of my dogs get medicine at night & then they all get a spoonful of peanut butter before bed. Marsh Run Kennels was very accommodating in seeing that they stayed in their usual routine. Many kennels charge you extra for every little thing they do. Marsh Run did not. They included all of that in their daily fee. I was very happy with the care they received while we were away from home for a few days. Would definitely recommend. More...

We love Marsh Run Kennels! We have a German Shepherd that is very wary of outsiders and sort of a difficult dog. We even have to medicate him to take him the the vet. Major goes with Bart and Betsy with no problem at all. He even gets excited when we pull into the driveway to Marsh Run. It makes me feel at ease knowing he enjoys his time there.
