Mr Green was a complete shambles! We felt violated as tenants and our human rights were affected when we reported a faulty boiler that was never actioned. Eventually, the boiler broke down and we were left without hot water and had to make arrangements for our 12-month-year-old baby to wash at a friends house. All this could have been avoided if Mr Green took our maintenance requests seriously and acted on them accordingly. Instead, they just tried to blame the landlord which was unprofessional, to say the least. It got worse when the Tennant Fees Act came into force and they attempted to increase the rent considerably. When we contended this and asked for maintenance issues to be repaired (caused by their own tradesmen) we were evicted with no attempt to find our new accommodation and then blamed for damages that were nothing more than wear and tear. The agent has no "official" negotiation process in place nor do they set deadlines for landlords to put in their own claims. The claims kept changing and they attempted to extort over £1280 from our young family. Eventually, we had to escalate this to a dispute with TDS. The agent responsible "Simon Ward" failed to accept any responsibility and was rather patronising when we tried to explain the landlord was putting forward false allegations in his claim. After 8 weeks of battling the rogue landlord and letting agent, we finally won our money back because Mr Green did not follow TDS guidance during the check-out process. They are extremely proactive and always provide feedback in a timely manner. They recently went above and beyond on my sale and they remain proactive after the sale. An amazingly friendly and responsive bunch of people. I had nothing I could argue against and only praise for the handling of viewings, enquiries, advertising and handover.
Simon and the team are now (deservedly) a well established local agent. They compete well and they deliver! Not only that but, if you ask, you might get an opportunity to name your own fees!

My experience was extremely good from beginning to end. Scott was diligent and sympathetic - I was selling my late mother's property - and kept me fully informed. I was pleased with the way the property was marketed, especially the photographs and the advice given on setting a price.
