Chris at Filosofitness is as good as it gets as a coach and a mentor in the fitness and wellness world. He has guided me on how to create a system to be able to be consistent and accountable on my journey. I need to acknowledge you Chris Wells for being such an amazing trainer. Thank you for your motivation and unlimited support in my journey to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Although, I give you the, “I’m going to kill you stare” when we do these supersets and adding of the weights, I understand you do it because you believe I am strong enough to handle it. For that reason, I push myself hard. FYI…I HATE CHIN-UPS, PULL-UPS, & ANYTHING THAT ENDS WITH UPS! (add that to your notes)
I feel amazing, not only physically but more importantly, mentally. You’ve helped my change my mindset on living a healthy lifestyle that I now implement in my home, with my children.
I enjoy every minute of our workout sessions. Laughing while bench pressing weights is a little dangerous but I can’t help it…Sometimes I think you make me laugh so I lose count. Like our conversation the other day, I do feel a lot stronger, I am able to do the workouts that I had dreaded when we first started. It feels so good not to fall on my face. And just to think, we started only 4 weeks ago. I am so excited to start training for my first Spartan Race. I will make you proud!!!

Obesity runs in my family and I've struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember. I have also battled an eating disorder since I was 13 years old. Chris provides nonjudgmental and positive support without placing additional pressure to be perfect. Chris preaches making small daily changes to your routine to create lifelong habits instead of fad diets or expensive supplements. Don't get me wrong this is still hard, but Chris knows that. There's no shame involved ever, and for someone who needed a trainer who could be a friend and not just someone who barks orders at me this is a perfect fit.

I would recommend Chris to anyone looking to make a permanent change, and would especially recommend him to people who have struggled with body dysmorphia or eating disorders. His gentle but firm approach will have you feeling secure without obsessing over the numbers.

Chris Wells is a great fitness instructor and all around great person to help you on your fitness journey. We all know how hard it is but with the right tools, it can be a pleasant and inspiring experience. Chris Wells' no nonsense approach will undoubtedly help you achieve your goals. He'll give you an arsenal of tools that will only lead to your success. I hired him for one month to jump start my diet and he did much more for me than that. Not only did I reach my weight loss goals, he taught me which food groups to focus on and even offers grocery tours where he teaches you how to shop for health. He also taught me workouts that work for my schedule and means so that I could maintain good habits even after working with him. Chris AKA Mr. Fit Wells- is THE BEST PERSONAL TRAINER EVER! No, seriously! I had a goal of 20 pound loss and had 2 months to do it- cutting it a bit close for my wedding date! Chris was able to help get me where I wanted to be and I even weighed in on the day of my wedding ( and worked out!) and I was beyond my 20 pound loss! He helped me build muscle and lose fat- but he also helped me understand how to fuel my body. I had no idea how important it is to eat well- beyond the hipster talk of kale and Hunter Pence. Chris was really there every step of the way- counting reps,encouraging me, making sure my old back injury was not bugging me, and pushing me to do my best. He also has this contagiously positive attitude and it really is a nice way to start the day. A good workout and positive reinforcement is  the best 6am Monday you could hope for. Even after my wedding I have continued to see Chris for personal training and could not be happier! He really cares about each and every client and takes the time to plan your program to your needs and abilities. I say this from a place of not being a morning person and not ever "loving" to work out- so, if someone can motivate me enough and help me want to get out of bed and train and make time for my nutrition- I would say that is pretty impressive. Chris knows his stuff on fitness and nutrition and is always willing to answer questions. I highly recommend this very approachable, non-judgmental, and motivating trainer- I would not love my wedding pictures without his help! More...

Chris is very supportive and encouraging during his training. He is very results oriented so depending on your goal he will ensure that it gets accomplished side by side with you. He develops a plan with you, & passionately cares about you sticking to it. The hardest part of losing weight is sticking to the plan and he really wants you to succeed. Chris is also very knowledgeable about nutrition & fitness... I'm inspired by how well he trains himself and helps me to do the same; I give him my highest recommendation!! More...
