We first met Dan in October of 2011 at Greg’s brother’s wedding. There happened to be a freak snowstorm which caused it to be postponed until the following day. Dan stayed the whole time and basically had the entire weekend on his camera. He was so much fun and all of the pictures from that day were absolutely amazing.

When Greg and I first got engaged we had no clue where to begin with the wedding planning. The only thing we did know was that we needed Dan as our photographer. When we found a hall and called Dan to see if he was available, we were relieved that we didn’t need to change our wedding date.

We had an engagement photo session in October of 2016 and this was where we really got to know Dan. We were able to be ourselves around him and we both felt very comfortable with him. We had so much fun and the pictures came out so great!!!

On the day of the wedding this past December, he made everything so easy. At the hair salon when Dan first came in and starting talking to us, the hair stylist thought he was a family member. The rest of the day was perfect and we didn’t have to stress about pictures because we knew Dan had it covered.

Dan takes time to get to know the couples that he works with. He also gets to know their families. He isn’t some guy that just shows up on the day of your wedding and takes pictures. He is much more than a photographer to us! You know how people say “pictures don’t do it justice”? This statement isn’t true about Dan’s photos. When you look at Dan’s pictures you get such a rush of emotion just by looking at them. It actually feels as if you’re there and can tell how those photographed are feeling.

If you want an awesome wedding photographer who is fun, personable, and takes insane pictures, then Dan is your man! There are not enough stars to give this guy. I can’t stop looking at our wedding photos because they are so amazing!!! We love you Dan! More...

Dan was hands down the best photographer we could have possibly hired for our wedding!

I honestly don't know where to start to properly review Dan. Fair warning that this review may make Dan sound too good to be true, but he really is THAT good. Neither my husband or I like taking photos. I'm not kidding you when I say we had maybe 3 photos together over FIVE years of dating .. none of which we liked.

Enter Dan.

We took our engagement photos/had our forever session with Dan the day before the wedding (seriously, we dreaded having our photo taken). After chatting and hanging out for awhile, we started taking photos, and it was FUN. Dan immediately made us feel comfortable and played off of our humor to put us at ease. We laughed the entire night with Dan! It's rare for us to quickly click with people and we clicked with Dan right away. Flash forward to the wedding day. Again, Dan was absolutely amazing! He was ready early and stayed late. He was, as usual, a BLAST to hang out with all day (you are with your photographer more than any of your family, friends or future spouse that day so this is IMPORTANT). You know your photographer is an amazing guy when your guests take photos with him for their Instagram with the caption "Best photographer EVER".

We've only seen two teaser photos so far, but we LOVE them both. The two people who have never liked a photo together (one of which has extreme self confidence problems) love our photos and are excited to see the others! I honestly think it would be impossible to choose someone better than Dan as our photographer! He clearly loves what he does and is truly AMAZING at what he does (with the camera and just at being an amazing, fun, charismatic, and passionate human being). We're already planning when we will hire him again (aka he is stuck with us for life)!

Seriously, go hire Dan! We promise you won't regret it! More...

I'm not even quite sure where to begin - but all I can say is that Dan deserves every single word of praise that comes his way. He has such a gift, and was 100% born to be doing this job. I was really anxious about having to select a photographer for our wedding, and all of those feelings went to the wayside after I had one initial phone call with Dan. That's all it took, because Dan took the time to ask so many thoughtful questions and genuinely understand what the important moments were going to be on our wedding day. Anybody could guess what those "important" moments would be (reciting our vows, our first dance, etc.), but Dan took the time to truly know and appreciate the dynamics of our personal relationship, as well as those that we have with our families, and it made for some pictures that captured moments far more important than we could have ever imagined. I’ll try to keep this from sounding like a love letter, but Dan was absolutely, hands-down our favorite vendor! I’ve never met anyone so enthusiastic and thoughtful; it was such a treat to have him be part of our wedding day and engagement.

Dan made us feel at ease from the start. Our engagement shoot was unbelievably comfortable, and more like a great date that ended in making a wonderful new friend! Receiving our pictures was even more reassuring. Wedding planning is stressful and you doubt your choices, even (especially?) small ones like table numbers and envelope color. When those stresses inevitably piled up, I would go to our engagement photos to remind myself we had made at least one really great decision; we must be doing something right! That comfort was so valuable to have throughout the craziness of wedding planning.

We also got a go-to wedding expert in Dan. He was available to help whenever we needed and gave us his full attention. One time we called to ask a question and he happened to be driving; he literally pulled over so he could look at our timeline and work out a solution with us. He treated our problems like they were his problems and all his suggestions worked out incredibly well.

On the wedding day he greeted me with a huge hug and was just as excited as I was! Looking back we were amazed by the intimate moments he captured since he was never intrusive. Our photos show touching moments rather than stiff poses, and the photos reflect the joy and fun of the day. Dan did an excellent job capturing the emotions and relationships that meant so much to us. Weddings have a lot of pretty details, but it’s not pictures of centerpieces or escort cards that you’ll pass down to your grandkids someday. It’s the pictures of you crying as you say your vows, embracing in your first quiet moments together as husband and wife, and hugging your favorite people that will mean the most. There was never a doubt that we'd choose Dan as our wedding photographer! His energy, kindness, and true attention to all of the details that were important to us were evident from the first moment we started talking to him about our wedding. Every time we met, talked, or even emailed him, we were excited to see how he'd capture all of the memories of our big day. To say that he delivered in spades would be an understatement! Daniel Moyer is an exceptional wedding photographer! We have known Danny for many years and we graduated from the same high school. Ever since I laid my eyes on his work I knew that one day I would want him to capture my special day. My husband and I were finishing up our last semester of college and Danny made accommodations to meet half way to discuss our wedding with him! We spent the first meeting talk about our relationship, how Joe proposed, our families, and our mutual love for Jesus! The second time we met we discussed our wedding day and we were thankful for the wedding knowledge that Danny has! We thought we had all the fine details ironed out and it turned out we didn't. Danny helped us envision our wedding day from the beginning to end and it finally made sense to us. We had thousands of thoughts all jumbled in our minds and it was difficult for us to see how the whole day would plan out. Not only is Danny knowledgablable about his work but he sees the whole picture and he will guide you in creating the most beautiful day of your life. Finally, our wedding day arrived and what a beautiful day it was! Danny kept very busy getting pictures of everything he possibly could. During our family pictures our flower girl just was not having it. Danny did what he does best and he began to RUN AROUND LIKE A CHICKEN AND MAKE NOISES LIKE A CHICKEN, and yes you read the correctly! Our flower girl cracked a smile and we now have a picture perfect family photo! Let me tell you, when people tell you the day is going to fly by they are NOT kidding! We felt like the DJ played five songs and the wedding was over. It was such a beautiful time going through our photos and reliving our day all over again. We are so excited about all the photos from our wedding day!! Since the very beginning of us speaking with Dan he was super excited to work with us. You feel the passion he has about his work the second you talk to him. The day we shared our story and reach out to see if Dan was available for our date, he immediately responded! Anytime we had a question Dan would always respond back quickly. He was extremely professional and made you feel comfortable around him the very first day you meet him. The thing that really separates Dan Moyer from many other photographers is his personality. He is light-hearted, engaging, and is quick to establish a fun, easy-going rapport. Everyone told us a Photographer is the most important vendor. We decided to really take our time and meet with a handful of photographers to get this right. Even Daniel told me, "meet with a lot of us, we're going to spend more time with your wife on the day than you will." He lived up to the hype and ended up being more like a Wedding Coach than just a Photographer. On such a stressful day, he really found ways to calm us down and make sure that we were enjoying our day. He met with us on several occasions leading up to the wedding to get even the smallest details right. He even offered us a 2nd photographer at cost and brought a third on his own. He has such a creative mind matched with fun spirited attitude and that gave us exactly what we needed that day. He worked under a lot of pressure and for the entire day, arriving at 11am until midnight. I was told to really find the perfect photographer to capture those candid moments on my wedding day and we surely did. I looked on areas to save money during the process, but I realized that with Photographers- you get what you pay for. Daniel was one of the only vendors that didn't look at our wedding like a business opportunity. He was there to make our day special and as best as it could be. Danny is the type of photographer that your bridal party will approach by the end of the night and say, "you're going to do my wedding! " Danny is so professional and runs his business like a true businessman. His website is clean & organized and his response time to email inquiries was excellent. My wife & I knew Dan as a photography student back in college. He was the type of person that exudes fun & positivity and he's exactly the same today. Nowadays, anyone can just take a picture and great photographers are few and far between. A photographer needs to be able to capture moments and a huge part of that is knowing your environment and being able to anticipate... and Dan is the most flawless photographer we've ever met. So, when we got engaged we didn't even give another wedding photographer a thought.

Dan went above and beyond his duties to make our experience exceptional. We live a great distance from him, so he scheduled Skype chats and met up for breakfast a couple of days before the wedding to solidify our plan. He wanted to make sure he had as much information about who we were as a couple and what our expectations were, because delivering that is his number one priority. He not only asked questions related to his photography duties, he gave us useful advice and suggestions that helped us during our planning process. We were in contact with Dan frequently and whenever we had a question or concern he responded quickly.

We recently received our wedding photos and they exceeded our lofty expectations. A week after we got engaged we met up with a few friends to celebrate. A friend of mine could not stop talking about this photographer, Daniel Moyer. She had attended a wedding where he was the photographer and could not stop raving about how amazing he was. She said he was out on the dance floor, as if a friend, and took the most beautiful pictures. I HAD to email him. So of course I looked him up, was impressed with his pictures online, and reached out.

After our first conversation....I HAD to hire him. His excitement about weddings and photography is contagious. His passion to become your friend through the process by taking the time to have conversations over the phone/skype/facetime/email, sending us a holiday card, and his desire to maintain contact throughout the process is admirable and I'm so thankful for him. His small touches of sending us our engagement pictures on a zip drive within a personalized carved wooden box and even sending us a card that said "you're getting married this year" after new years are just a few outside the box things Daniel Moyer does that make him stand out and unforgettable.

He made pictures easy and beautiful. He became a friend over the last year, proven by the dance off we had on my wedding day :) I can't wait to see what the future holds, but one thing I know for sure, is that Daniel Moyer has now set a precedent for photographers and I can only imagine him continuing to be ours :)

I fell in love with Dan's photos even before I was engaged just browsing facebook. So I was so excited when my husband and I were able to book him to photograph our wedding in September 2015. Dan has been a dream to work with. I had met with other photographers, but Dan's awesome personality and professionalism shined through. It was just a fun time at every meeting and I wanted to have that same feeling on my wedding day! Our engagement photo shoot was just a taste of what Dan had in store for our wedding. Having a traditional wedding, Dan had the perfect combination of tradition and creativity to create lasting epic photographs that my husband and I both love! If you're getting married, hiring Dan Moyer to photograph your wedding is the first and best decision you should make. He was recommended to us by a colleague who couldn't stop raving about how wonderful Dan is and how he basically was the best part of their wedding experience. On that glowing recommendation, we met with Dan and within 5 minutes were completely sold. Despite this, he encouraged us to look around for other photographers to be sure. We were sure so we booked Dan and as I said, it was the best decision we made. Our philosophy was that photographs are one of the few tangible things that you walk away from a wedding with (besides a spouse, of course), so we really wanted to have someone we trusted behind the camera. Not only is Dan incredibly professional and takes gorgeous photos, but he is an all around awesome and fun guy who makes being in front of a camera so much easier. We did an engagement session which really helped us get to know Dan and then he and Russ (who is also amazing!!) photographed our wedding. We also used his photo booth which was a real highlight of the whole wedding day. Beyond that, he also is great at dealing with crazy family members and guests and can even sew buttons onto tuxedos (in the even they pop off 2 minutes before the ceremony). I knew that I was going to have the most beautiful wedding photos from Daniel during our initial conversation when Daniel told me that I should research lots of photographers before choosing one for our big day. This was the first genuine conversation I had with a vendor during the wedding planning process. He told me these pictures would always be meaningful to us and wanted us to make sure that his style was exactly what we envisioned for our big day. I took some time and researched other photographers, but came back to Daniel. After we booked him, he took me and my (now) husband out to dinner to talk about our relationship and what we envisioned for our big day. The day before the wedding, Daniel called us and gave us a pep talk and tips on how to savor the fleeting moments of our big day. The morning of our wedding, seeing Daniel was like seeing an old friend- I was at ease with him around and that made him capturing the genuine intimate moments of our day so natural. We had so much fun shooting our photos- he and lauren kept us laughing and focused on what mattered throughout the day. Our friends and family kept asking if our photographer was a long time friend because he was out on the dance floor twirling and shooting some of the most genuine moments with our guest from our wedding reception. As much as it pains me to know that so many people will be booking Dan after all of these 5 star reviews, I have to give him another one… and hope that he squeezes me into his busy schedule again in the future! I want to start by saying I now can call Dan a friend of mine (and my husbands). He is an amazing person, incredibly nice and outgoing. He radiates positive energy and is so excited about every aspect of your wedding and time leading up to the big day. I believe I found Dan's page after an incredible amount of research on The Knot and wedding wire. I loved his blog and reviews and immediately called to set up a meeting to see if he lived up to the hype. He was very quick to respond to my request and next thing I knew he was sitting on my family room couch. He was funny, enthusiastic, but also extremely professional. I interviewed 2 other photographers (which I recommend doing) but knew Dan would be the one! From that moment on Dan was awesome. You can text him, call him, email him… he always responds. We did our engagement shoot with Dan as well and it was AMAZING. Check out his blog page and look at Clare & Sean's engagement session… you won't be disappointed. Dan was so creative with his shots but also takes traditional portraits. His photographs made me cry and are hanging around my house. Everyone has complimented on them. On our wedding day, Dan arrived early, and stayed late. He was bursting with energy and our bridal party loved him. I cannot say enough positive things about Dan.. his photographs are just so stunning and beautiful. He is an out of the box thinker, not your typical run of the mill wedding photographer. We could gush on and on for hours about how awesome Dan Moyer of Daniel Moyer Photography is. We met Dan more than a year out from our wedding date and his high energy and incredible enthusiasm made us want to get married the next day. Dan is amazing - super reliable, easy to contact and quick to respond, well organized, highly experienced (he knows weddings!), FULL OF ENERGY, friendly, polite and every other positive attribute you can give someone. We first met Dan when he photographed a friend's wedding that we were a part of. From that day on, we knew we wanted Dan to photograph our wedding because of the amazing photos he creates and captures but also because he is so much fun to be around and becomes your friend, not just a vendor. When my husband and I got engaged a year and a half later, we called Dan to make sure he was available before booking a venue.

Dan was always available and happy to provide insight or advice during the planning process, not just limited to photography. He continued to keep in touch during this time as well, often checking in to simply say how excited he was for our wedding and especially as we got closer to the wedding date, to solidify the schedule and make sure he knew all of the important details to make the day run smoothly.

Months before the wedding we spent an afternoon with Dan for our engagement session. He brought great energy and spent about 4 hours shooting, then we all went out to dinner. It was such a great day, and we absolutely loved the photos. It really increased the anticipation for our wedding day and photos!

On our wedding day, we had a second photographer through Dan, who was equally awesome and fun to be around. Dan has perfected the art of working incredibly hard to create and capture the best photographs, making everyone feel comfortable while being photographed and having a blast while doing it. He was present exactly when we needed him to be and invisible during the more intimate moments. We were actually surprised at some of the photographs he captured of our favorite memories because we don't remember him being anywhere near us. He truly went above and beyond to ensure we got the best photographs, posed and not.

I don't think I can say enough good things about Dan. My now husband and I contacted Dan after being given his info from a friend, and immediately after our first meeting with him, we hired him to photograph our wedding. He was the first and only photographer that we met with! Aside from his pictures being stunning, Dan is also incredibly personable, fun, and has the ability to ease a lot of stress that comes with wedding planning. We also had Dan photograph our engagement pictures and he was so accommodating! It rained twice on our scheduled sessions, and he rescheduled us both times until we finally had a sunny day! Dan was also very proactive and kept in contact with us during the months leading up to our wedding (even though his own wedding was only a couple of months before ours). On our actual wedding day, it rained again - but Dan and his intern Morgan didn't let that stress me out and kept reminding me that none of that mattered. He spent the entire day with us as my bridesmaids and I got ready, and he made us laugh through our nerves. Dan knows exactly how to be around when you need him, and then be sort of invisible during the more private moments (our first look). We don't believe that there will ever be enough time or the best words to describe how much we loved working with Dan so what will be said here will hopefully live up to the amazing work that Dan does :) Dan Moyer is by far one of the best decisions that we made while wedding planning. Although we stumbled upon him by accident, once you go with Dan, there is no going back... everyone else just seems to pale in comparison. His enthusiasm, personality, and motivation to get to know you through dinners and conversations were one of the best guiding lights we had to get through our wedding planning and have our big day unfold. The day of the wedding, Dan was prompt, all around excited, and so much fun to have there. He got to know our families and shared in the excitement that resonated throughout the whole day and was there for guidance when we couldn't get our pictures because of the weather, but graciously offered for another photo shoot on a better day. Upon seeing the pictures, they are of the most wonderful pictures we have ever seen-- from the first sneak peek to the highlights slideshow to the entire gallery and stirred up all of the emotions we had that day as our story unfolded. Asking Daniel Moyer to be our photographer was the single best decision we made for our wedding. Not only are Dan's photos absolutely GORGEOUS, but he has a unique ability for capturing every emotion the couple and their family are feeling in them. My husband and I both do not photograph well, but Dan made it so easy and made us look awesome in every picture : ). The stress of a wedding can be very overwhelming, but everything that involved Dan were the fun parts throughout the year. Our engagement session felt more like a fun date night (which Dan traveled along to three different places for them no questions asked). I can't imagine having a photographer with me all day that made me pose awkwardly and did not know how to relate to my family and have fun like Dan did so easily. With Dan, you rarely pose and he gets the most natural shots of you both in the moment. My bridesmaids and I had a blast taking pictures with him. He made me feel SOO much more at ease and even took care of little things for my parents to help out. Dan's love for romance and family are very evident when you are working with him. Although Dan's main priority is the couple's happiness, he goes above and beyond for your bridal party and guests to feel important. I felt like he was just as much a planner for me as a photographer. So many of our guests complimented him and said how great he was and then after seeing our pictures raved about how beautiful they were and how to contact him. My wedding was less than a month before Dan's own wedding, and he still made sure to keep in touch and have our photos given to me a week before his wedding which is amazing considering how much time he puts into perfecting over 1000 photos of the day. It was unbelievable how every one of them was a great photo. I cannot say enough good things about Dan Moyer! We used him for both our engagement and wedding photos and we are SO happy with the finished product! Beyond the masterfully creative photographs, Dan is just an all-around energetic and fun-loving guy! He put my nerves completely at ease on our wedding day and captured the event in such a unique way. My guests absolutely LOVED him too. My husband and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer! I grew up with Dan, going to school together and watching him flourish in college. I thought it would be easier having a personal touch to knowing the photographer than choosing a random vendor. In the end, having knowing Dan previously or not he was so enjoyable to work with. Once he was behind the camera he made it feel like it was just you and no one else around. Words can not describe how excellent his professionalism is when working an event! He goes through step by step on how the day will go and as I look back through my many wedding photos I am in awe by the way he captured the day so vividly! You would never know he was even there half the time, he just gets in his zone and everything turns out amazing.

I have been trying to write this review for a few days now and have struggled to do so because I've been unable to find words glowing enough to truly express how wonderful of a photographer Dan is. It is nearly impossible NOT to smile when working with him - his genuine, all-encompassing and passionate love for his chosen career is infectious. Moreover, in addition to truly loving what he does Dan is incredibly skilled. The photos he takes capture beauty and emotion in a way we truly did not know was possible. As time goes on some of the only tangible pieces of a wedding that remain are the photos. Dan's photos; however, are so moving that they really do appear to be little pieces of the day, and looking at them evokes such joy its surprising. If we could go back in time and re-plan our wedding, the first thing we would do would be to hire Dan all over again. Dan was the best decision I made for my wedding day besides my husband, of course! He captured so many beautiful moments at both our engagement session and on our wedding day and was the most talked about guest at our wedding as he also took over the dance floor in the spare minute or two he somehow found. As many of my friends' weddings have passed, the one thing they always say is that they wish they had hired Dan. He cares so much about the day and makes sure everything is running smoothly. He was like a second maid of honor! He fits in with any group and has the most miraculous ideas for beautiful pictures. I cannot express how much I loved working with Danny - from our first meeting to now ordering our pictures/photo album he has been amazing. He has an infectious personality and makes his subjects feel at ease, which shines through in the superb pictures. Plus, who doesn't love a photographer who loves weddings, is knowledgable and available to answer any question and literally dances onto the dance floor or lays on the ground in a suit to capture the moment. On a rating scale, 1-5...I would have to give Dan and Lauren a 10!  They are both AMAZING!  We were referred to Dan from a friend of a friend. ... I am SO HAPPY that we booked him.  From the moment we met him, my fiancé (now husband) knew immediately he was the photographer to go with.  You will not find a more fun, energetic, enthusiastic, or more professional photographer in this industry.  Plus, their work is Gorgeous!  We had an added bonus with Lauren - she was Dan's assistant for our big day.  Both of them are very genuine and just made everyone feel so comfortable. All the pictures and moments they were able to capture are absolutely stunning! Before I begin this review, I would like to start by saying that Dan is not only the most talented photographer I know, but he is also a very dear friend. When I told him about our destination wedding in Heidelberg, Germany he was instantly on board. His enthusiasm for both work and friendship are unmatched. He was by our side for the entire journey, preserving all of the moments that make a wedding so special. Choosing Daniel Moyer to photograph our wedding was the best decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. Photography was one of the most important things to me, so I wanted to be completely sure of my decision with a photographer. After countless hours and days scrolling though blogs and photos I kept going back to Dan's website. His images were the only thing that I was looking for.
Once we met with Dan we instantly knew that we wanted to work with him. And because he knows how important these decisions are, he told us to take time to make sure he was what we wanted.
Dan was available every step of the way to answer questions, offer advice, and was genuinely excited about our day. (I promise you, you will not find another vendor more excited about your own wedding:)
Dan helped me feel so relaxed, especially the day of. He even opened up his home to us to do a secret photo shoot to surprise our guests the day of. My family and friends can't stop talking about how awesome Dan (and his crew) were.
When we got our images back we were reassured, yet again, that we picked the right photographer. And still even after 'our day' is over, when I'm in contact with Dan, it's like I'm talking to a friend.

Daniel Moyer is AWESOME! From the moment we first sat down with him to having our inital meeting we knew he was the right guy for the job. His honesty and professionalism is top notch and his ability to be quirky and have fun with his clients is what sold us. Not only is he an amazing photographer he is a great friend and genuinely loves what he does, he puts everything into his pictures. Greg and I loved his work and were excited to work with him on our engagement photos first, it was great cause it gave us a taste of what our wedding day would be like but a hundred times better! Going with Dan Moyer as your photographer will definitely guarantee that all of the love that is bound to overflow on your wedding day is captured in the most amazing photographs that you couldn't even dream up as you plan. From the moment my husband and I got engaged, I knew I had to have Dan Moyer as my photographer. Dan photographed our friend's wedding a few years ago, and after spending the day with him on their big day, I was instantly comfortable and impressed with him as a photographer. Since we already knew Dan, it was great to see him when we first met...but I know that if we didn't know him, we would have felt the same way - happy to see him, comfortable, and just like an old friend. He builds a fantastic relationship with the people he works with and it is easy to see that he is just truly a great person. Dan is easy to talk to about all of the important things you need to talk about, but he's also easy to talk to about the not so important stuff, too. It's easy to see he loves what he does. Guests were raving for DAYS about my photographer and some friends were saying "I wish I could get married again, so I could book him!" THATS how much he made an impact on our day. But what makes Dan Moyer stand out as a wedding photographer can not be described in words. Daniel Moyer is absolutely amazing!!! Hiring a great photographer was top on our list, so I did a lot of research online first. I saw Dan’s website, and really liked his work, so my husband and I had him over for dinner to see what he was all about…and then we were hooked! His personality is like none other…he truly loves his job and it shows!!! We immediately started planning the engagement shoots, and he listened to all of our ideas, and just ran with it. The Save-the-Dates he designed for us were beautiful! The months leading up to the Big Day, he was calling and emailing us just to check-in, and to make sure all the details were finalized.
He took 1000+ pictures on our wedding day, and all of them were stunning. He perfectly captured the emotion and joy from everyone throughout the day. Daniel was great to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. He was knowledgeable, easy-going, and helpful during all of our interactions. Dan did our engagement photos as well as our wedding and the pictures and overall experience for both was fantastic. The engagement shoot was a wonderful experience because we got a chance to get comfortable working with Dan prior to the hectic wedding day and we have a beautiful set of informal pictures that we were able to place around our home. Dan even went out of his way to travel to our engagement session which was not in the Philadelphia area. We really appreciated this and it is just one example of how he makes it a priority to ensure that his clients are happy.

Dan also did an amazing job on our wedding day (along with Russ, his second photographer, and Morgan, his lighting assistant). On the wedding day he was on time, helpful, energetic (as always), and captured amazing pictures of all the details and overall happiness of our guests and families. We love our wedding pictures and really appreciate that he was able to capture the emotions of the day in creative ways without being at all intrusive. He even joined us on the dance floor for a bit…and we have the pictures to show how much fun we all had.

After the wedding, Dan made sure that we received our pictures very quickly and streamlined the process of selecting photos for prints and our album. It was extremely difficult to choose our favorite pictures because we were so happy with all of them.

Overall, we highly recommend using Daniel as your wedding photographer. He went above and beyond to keep us happy, maintained his professionalism throughout the process, and ensured that we have beautiful pictures from our engagement session and wedding that we will treasure for many, many years. If I could rate higher than 5 stars in each of these categories I would. Dan made us feel like we were his most important client from the moment we met him (which was about 16 months before our wedding date! ). He made us feel so comfortable that our pictures for our Save the Dates and our wedding were basically effortless. His personality, talent, quality of photography and professional was bar-none the best I have ever encountered in any business that I have ever dealt with. When my fiance and I were putting together a list of ideas for vendors, we knew from the start that our photographer would be the most important vendor we chose for our wedding day. When everything is said and done, after the last song is played and the last piece of cake is eaten, the one keepsake you will have to look at 10 years down the road are those photographs. I can honestly say without a doubt that Dan is the person you want to trust with handling this keepsake. Not only is he an amazing photographer but he is an all around amazing person. From the first time we met Dan, we knew immediately that he would be our photographer. He is fun, uplifting, and his photography speaks for itself. Take a look at his page and you will immediately by captivated by his adventurous style and his unique photos. When looking at his albums, you feel his passion for photography and when you spend 5 minutes with him you feel it even more. He truly loves what he does and he's damn good at it as well. I have never seen photos more mesmerizing. He is constantly available for support, advice, or just to chat if you're feeling stressed. He's very flexible and has your best interest at heart. For our package, we upgraded and added a second photographer, Russ Hickman, who was also incredible. He was up for any photo and made every picture fun and allowed us to feel at ease. We had such a blast working with both of them, they made the day that much more fun and memorable. If you take anything away from my review take away this: Dan is an extremely talented photographer but he is also so much more.
