Once in a while you get pleasantly surprised. This was one of those times. Just completed a local move which required a 5-person crew and 2 trucks picking up from multiple locations. Could not be more pleased. Terrific crew - VERY hard working - VERY polite - and run by a super-organized crew leader, Jessie. Actual time (and cost) to complete the move was less than estimated despite encountering some unanticipated access complications at the new home. so we called on short notice. "No problem" Jim said. next day they came to asses the items. gave me the estimate. we said , "Make it so". next morning 2men show up. i think , no way these 2 can do it. 8:30 am...GO. at 6:30 pm, all was done. Moving can be a very stressful time. Moving buddies took all of our stress away and made this day actually relaxing. I have never such such quality taken care of other peoples items in my lifetime. The whole team was very personable, asked questions to make sure we were comfortable and happy with the way our items were being packaged and loaded, and honestly just felt like they cared about our items as if they were their own. We had a very large , bulky, and awkward table that we deeply care for. The owner personally designed tools and did dry runs prior to our move to make sure this item was moved with extreme care. They went above and beyond and exceeded all expectations! They were also cheaper than any other place in Tucson which makes you skeptical at first , but honestly their small business makes it profitable for them and also gave us a killer deal! They were awesome! Jim came out to give me a quote and made sure I had all the info I needed upfront. They came in just under the quote after the move. We had to move our closing date out and they worked with us to get everything rescheduled. The crew was friendly, professional, had attention to detail, and were hard workers who cared for our stuff. David and Manuel were awesome gentleman who assisted with moving all my items to storage for my son and I. They were incredibly patient kind and warm hearted to my curious 1. 5 year old. They were very good at taking care of my furniture and belongings wrapping everything very neatly and safely. They showed they genuinely care about their jobs and the customers satisfaction. By far the best price in town, I literally called every company and moving buddies couldn’t be beat! Their office staff is personable, kind, and great at communicating. I had an issue delay my move and they were so understanding and accommodating. Our movers were Tony and Manny. Great guys! They are such hard workers and boy do they hustle! I didn’t think they would be able to get so much done so quick, every other company estimated a 8-10 hour job, these guys got it done 5 and kindly helped us move some extra stuff too. Moving buddies made an otherwise stressful move easy. All I had to do was watch them do their work and they also had a hustle in their step. Art and gully were very friendly from the beginning and shrink wrapped everything and wrapped the glass in cloth to make sure to minimize any damage to them during the move. I had short notice for a move that had to be done New Years Eve morning. Jim responded immediately to my inquiry. The estimate was affordable and he was able to accommodate my time frame. Tony and Manuel showed up on time and ready to hustle and HUSTLE they did! Up and down 2 sets of stair flights with heavy bulky furniture and tons of books. Then the rain started, they worked through it, protecting my things through it all. Despite the best planning and relentless hard driving work these guys were doing my budget would be exhausted before the move was complete. I informed Tony of the problem and he and Jim (the owner) got together and came up with a plan that got my move done and saved my budget! None of my things were damaged from the move or the rain. Hired the moving buddies on a short notice. The team was absolutely great, packed our belonging and unpackt them and set the new house back up. I had a piece of furniture that was already broken in the beginning and the moving team went above and beyond to fix it again. Will use them again for future move. Bigger than myself and family/friends could handle, and considerations for our friend donating it and her space and work schedule as well.
