What do you love most about your job?
The best feeling is when a client thinks an installation cant be completed due to difficult planning issues and then our designer finds a way to make it work. For example adapted external condensers so they can be housed inside a building and then we've disguised these systems in all sorts of custom built carpentry and vented the unit to outside. Being able to look back and say, "we found a way" is a really good feeling because we know we've gone above and beyond.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Having worked for big organisations I wanted to get back what I put in. In reality Mountair started out many years ago when I was a sole trader working independently, but over the last 16 years the business has grown and grown and in 2008 we officially formed Mountair Ltd. We now have over 250 regular customers and our turnover has doubled year on year.

We go the extra mile, we are small enough to still care and have a real involvement in every project, but we have grown enough to establish a really strong, fully qualified and time served engineering team. We are manufacturer independent, so we will design and suggest a systems that exactly fits your needs.
