The MOTIF design team is brilliant! They made decoration of my new home fun, and the price was affordable. I was quickly won over by Jennifer’s enthusiasm, creativity, technical expertise and attention to detail. She and her team carefully studied the architectural details of my house and took extra time to understand my style preferences in order to develop several beautiful, unique, and even mind-blowing design concepts for my entire house and patio. They also came up with thoughtful ways to incorporate my family’s antique furniture and artwork. Jennifer has extensive contacts in the design community and access to craftsmen, artists and suppliers throughout the country allowing for innumerable design options. I got frequent updates from the MOTIF team and was involved in all decisions, big and small. My new home décor is personalized, elegant, stunning and timeless. We chose Motif when we decided to renovate our master bedroom and bathroom because Jennifer offers what most construction contractors do not. Jennifer brings to the table her expertise and unique combination of skills - designer, general contractor and architecture expertise. Her vision for changing a space is incredible. Our master project was about a 1000 square foot space. It required moving and building walls, raising floors, new plumbing, electrical, sprinkler system changes, and window replacement. Jennifer master-minded the entire project and the final product is a brand-new, inventive, comfortable new living space. The colors, textures, and finishing touches are beyond our wildest expectations. We are now in the process of renovating our kitchen with Motif and we continue to be thrilled! More...

Motif recently remodeled our living and dining room.  It's a small area but Jen was able to design a  very functional and beautiful space.  I had very specific requirements and Jen not only met these requirements but far exceeded our expectations!  She created a beautiful space but stayed within our budget and was very responsive and patient during the entire process.  Because of Jen's pricing structure we were able to upgrade most of our furniture pieces which included a custom sofa that I never want to leave!  I learned quickly that I could trust Jen with not only my home but also my family antiques, which Jen made sure to use in her design in ways I never would have thought of myself.  What was important to me was just as important to Jen.  She puts her whole heart into every project.   I not only recommend Motif Design, we will be working together again soon when we start remodeling the bedrooms.  I'm very grateful to Jen and Motif for the beauty they brought to my home and my life. Cute boutique!  Employees are friendly as long as you are buying. However, the owner has not trained her employees on returns. Out of 3 items I returned one and was advised I would get a check in the mail. Instead I got a gift certificate. The shop is out of my way.  I would have bought something the same day had I known. I tried to clear the issue up as I called and talked with the same employee. She informed me of the correct policy. This is not on my receipt and the employee admitted she was wrong when she she told me about the return. I try to support small businesses, but when they won't give a little and have bad customer service I won't be back to this one. Besides I saw the same items at a chain store for half the price. MOTIF Design Solutions designed our family room, and more than a year later, we're still in love with it. Everyone who walks in sighs and mentions how serene and beautiful it is. We recently downsized into a much smaller home which created numerous design challenges. I have never hired a professional interior designer but I knew I was out of my league and contacted Jen at Motif Design Solutions. Jen has done a wonderful job listening and designing around my priorities and lifestyle. She made sure to incorporate all my favorite photos, accessories and key pieces of furniture into her her beautiful design to create a personal and cohesive room! Jen's recommendation to remove our kitchen table and replace it with a beautiful hickory bar top has transformed our very small kitchen into a functional, unique and livable area large enough to accommodate family and friends. Jen is very responsive and communicates with me during every phase of the design process. She has made sure we stayed within our budget and her pricing structure is set up so I can not only afford her services but I'm also getting the best quality furniture and accessories available. We are still several weeks away from completing the first phase of our remodel and I can't wait to see the finished results and start on the next!
