I am a mom of two beautiful and smart children. My son is 4 and my daughter is nine years old. Last year in July, I had reached an emotional bottom. I was physically and mentally exhausted. At that time I had a very demanding full time job as a registered nurse in an operating room and I had to be a full time mother and wife when I came home. I was depressed and angry. I wasn’t able to enjoy my kids and my husband anymore. I became a yelling bully that nobody was enjoying including my self. Overwhelmed with responsibilities, I also had to deal with constant tantrums and lack of respect towards me from my at that time, 3 year old son. He became like a ruler in our house and we had tried everything we knew to stop it and to prevent him from having another meltdown. Nothing really worked. His behavior affected our whole family, my relationship with my husband and my daughter as well as our social life. I just couldn’t take it anymore. At times, I felt like running away and not looking back. That’s when I knew I had to look for help. I came across the Mother’s in Training website and I decided to give it a try. It’s been almost a year since my first session with Loyla. I’ve been coming to talk to Loyla regularly, on weekly or bi-weekly bases. Loyla is an outstanding listener. Easy to talk to. Very focused- very professional. Non-judgmental. She makes it easy to relax and gets to the bottom of the issue. My relationship with myself continues to improve, which is positively affecting other important areas of my life such as my marriage and my family. Thanks to Loyla, I’ve become a better mother and wife. I started liking myself again. I look at life differently and my priorities are different. I’ve changed so my kids respond to me in a much better way. My son’s behavior continues to improve slowly. My family and my friends have noticed this positive change and I’ve been getting compliments from them. I’v been very open to my friends and family about how much I’ve benefited from having Loyla as my family coach. I truly suggest getting help to every mother who feels the way I felt last year. Please reach out for help. Don’t suffer or pretend you can handle it all. I highly recommend Loyla as a family coach. Every mother and every family facing their own unique issues should reach out to get help. Happy and balanced family is what most families wants. Thanks to Loyla’s careful guidance and professional approach, we are slowly but surly getting closer to being a happy and balanced family. Loyla's coaching has been life-changing for me.  I am a mother of four children ages 2-10.  Before I started seeing Loyla my household was full of chaos and yelling.  She has given me the tools to create an environment where my kids are thriving, our relationships are stronger than ever and I feel in control and at peace.  I first heard Loyla speak at a mothers group and her words made such an impact on me that I started to see her weekly for one on one coaching.  She has helped me visualize what I want for our family and gives me very practical, easy to follow out instructions on how to make it happen.  We have discussed privilege and responsibility, when and how to speak to kids about sex, handling tantrums, discipline, creating family memories, teasing and bullying, respect, and sibling rivalry to name a few.  She has such a gentle and loving way about her.  I always leave her office feeling encouraged.  I am so grateful for her and feel like every mom could benefit from meeting with her. The past 5 weeks have been a really tough adjustment for the whole family- especially our son Justin. His behavior has been anything but the sweet, kind and gentle boy he usually is. He's acting out, always seems to be getting into trouble and a few days ago I hit a breaking point and reached out for help from my friend, Loyla Louvis who is a Certified Life and Parenting Coach and implemented 2 of the strategies she taught me:**1) Give your child a part of your body (one leg) that is “his”. He can hug, hold, touch while you are feeding the baby. Let him know that that leg is all his. (Just using leg as an example) Justin chose my shoulder and the look on his face when I told him it was ALL HIS just brought tears to my eyes.2) Give him your pillow to sleep with at night if he’s old enough for a pillow. The smell of you will comfort him greatly. (This was a strategy we had already implemented because my husband said my U-shaped pregnancy pillow just had to go!)** 3) Give your child a job to do with regard to his baby sibling so he is part of the process. Tell him you both have a job to do now, the whole family has a role to play. Justin is now in charge of reminding people to sanitize their hands before touching the baby as well as making sure our little teacup, Olivia gets attention as well since she has been extra lonely with her big brother, (our Puggle Oliver) being sick and put down and with the new baby being here.I am so very thankful for these strategies Loyla has given us and I just had to pass them on to any moms or dads struggling with the same issues. I Have watched many of Loyla's episodes, especially loved the one where her daughter was on. It actually made me cry because at 16 I didn't have the kind of relationship with my Mom that Loyla and he daughter have. All I thought was this Mom is doing something right! I continue to learn from her advice, not just with children but with people in general. We all could learn from her and I encourage people that are not parents to tune in and watch because her advise seems universal. More...

Loyla is indispensable in finding answers and solutions to your parenting problems. Approaching each child individually, she helped me to understand how powerful the words you use with your children could be. Loyla is very patient, thoughtful, nurturing and caring parenting coach who helps you to discover better parenting strategies so that your children will be more cooperative and well behaved. Unfortunately, as parents, we do not always know how to deal with the behavioral problems of our children. Small but consistent actions could go a long way in your relationship with your children. That is where having Loyla on your side becomes a must. Following Loyla’s advice and ideas considerably improved my relationship with my daughter and grandkids. The only thing I regret is not having her to teach me the ropes earlier. Highly recommend! More...

She breaks the overwhelming job of motherhood into manageable pieces so you feel like you can immediately take action and have success. I may come to her discouraged and disillusioned but after any session with her I feel excited and ready to dust myself off and go at it again! She is not a judge- she is an encourager and motivator. She has experience, wisdom and a deep knowledge of the emotional and biological inner workings of a growing child. More...
