This is a really nice place. Fun for all ages too, me and my grandkids both. Very good prices too & a nice outing for family fun.

Read that this was one of the best museums in Jacksonville and decided to check it out. I did not realize until after buying my ticket that the museum is probably more suited towards children with just enough stuff to keep an adult entertained. If you have children, this would be a great place to take them. Still worth it as an adult but a lot of stuff for younger children. More...

Great fun! Lots to learn. I think the adults had the most fun this time! We will definitely be back.

We were visiting during spring break and our first day was too cold to visit the beach. I’m happy we got the chance to visit the museum. We have 3 kids (3,9 and 13) who all enjoyed the visit. They spent the most time in the backyard exhibit exploring and playing the games. They also enjoyed seeing the outdoor area with native Jacksonville plants and turtles. I was impressed with the floor describing the history of Florida and Jacksonville. I would have enjoyed more time looking through the many artifacts and history. Overall a great trip and helped save the day. More...

This is such a fun place to bring the kids. There are lots of interactive exhibits for them to explore. There are also shows pretty frequently on a variety of topics. It's very easy to spend a few hours in there while the kids explore. More...

Visited with my 7-year-old and had a blast. The outdoor nature area was fun to watch the turtles, ground floor had neat whale and sea exhibit. The traveling exhibit had lots of hands on and it kept us around for a few hours. We spent a total of 3.5 hours and could have stayed a little longer but we got hungry. Walked to The Southern Grill to eat, visit Treaty Oak and opted to not resented but we could have. More...

I really enjoy it ! I got the annual pass for me and my son and we go on rainy days or after we spent time at the park or zoo. It’s nice to have an indoor activity on hot days where he can run around.

I would like to see more hands on things for small children maybe a slide in the play area ...

Great place for families! The kids loved the planetarium, and the outdoor area with the Alligator Snapping Turtle.

Great field trip with 4th graders yesterday, nothing else like it in Jacksonville. Its not the Smithsonian, of course, but a decent few hours for kids of most ages, fun hands on learning with Free parking (designated for MOSH, you have to mention MOSH to the attendant who is employed by River City) and a great picnic lunch at Friendship fountain on the St. John's river with views of downtown. MOSH is a resource in the Jax area! Not only do they have interesting, permanent educational displays.. they have visiting displays. How do you say dinosaurs, human bodies, artifacts on the Civil War Maple Leaf but many more! We have attended two private events here that the building was rented! How cool is that! They have lovely outside gardens too... More...

I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. My wedding ceremony was there last night, what was supposed to be on the roof overlooking downtown. And then it rained (outdoor wedding in Florida, am I right)! Lydel was a freaking rockstar. She went above and beyond to change the venue to the planetarium so that it was still the nerdy, unique wedding we wanted so much! She was able to make the transition easy and without stress to any of the wedding party. She was there for anything we asked for or needed. The museum and its staff is the perfect example of amazing customer service and flawless organization skills. More...
