Outstanding service from Mortgage Advice Bureau Dundee. Having went to 4 previous mortgage advisors as we didn't know where to start as we where first time buyers and our credit was not perfect either, all 4 advisors came to the same conclusion it was either declined or a LTV of 60% max. My wife and I where frustrated and disappointed and soon realised that this was going to be a struggle. After reviewing the situation I looked up top performing mortgage advisors in Tayside and only one person stood out to me.......a gentleman Lee McKelvie. I said to myself should I give this one more last try, I did I reached out to Lee. Lee was on a family holiday in America and instantly got back to me saying he will be in touch on his return. Lee got straight back to me and instantly set to work and told me not too worry I will get you sorted. Within 10 minutes he had us a mortgage at 90% LTV approved in principle. I could not believe this I honestly thought Lee was Harry Potter, within a few weeks we have received our full mortgage offer and now looking forward to moving in to our dream house. I can't thank Lee enough, I will only ever use Lee at MAB Dundee and will be recommending friends and family to use him. Me and my partner went to see Genny for our mortgage, we had a monthly budget in mind and hadn't thought about life insurance before speaking her.
Genny worked relentlessly for us to make sure she could get us the best deal, and even managed to get life and critical illness cover for us all included in the monthly budget we had set. She kept us up to date every step of the way and answered all the questions we had (and there was lots). Everything was done when suited us. We had our offer issued within 3 and a half days!! Thanks so much to Gen from the mortgage bureau! She has been fantastic and got us into our dream home so quickly! We could not have done it without her!
When I met with Gen earlier in the year and she said she would have us in a house by June I didn't think it was possible, but it is now only May and we are in our new home!
She has done everything for us from finding the best lender to sorting out all our insurances! And has also just been a great support! She was always on hand to help with anything and answer all my questions! Even if it wasn't related to what she was doing she still answered quickly and helped! She always got back promptly and helped me when I was stressing! She also got us a great solicitors with fees a lot lower than others!
We had a monthly budget in mind and Gen got us our mortgage and critical illness and life insurance for under our budget so we were over the moon! When we had been to our bank and other lenders the monthly price was £150 more a month than what Gen has got for us!
We can't thank her enough and we couldn't have done it without her!
I would highly recommend Gen, and the team at the mortgage advise bureau! Best thing we have done and we are now very happy in our new home!

Myself and my partner went to Lee after being recommended. I was away to give up all hope as we had currently been refused a mortgage 3 times and were told we will only get one if we had a 20% deposit which is an awful lot due to bad credit (phone bill) Lee has been amazing I really don't know how he did it compared to the previous 3 other mortgage advisors we have seen over the past 2 years.
