Morris + Associates

I worked at Morris and Associates a few decades ago when they were off of Katy Road I believe. That was my first drafting job and it was run by a family. They were my first chance at doing my drafting career and from that point forward I went to different companies for different types of civil engineering drafting including CAD. The family business has changed I have heard through the years moving and of course people coming and going. But I remember Bill Morris and I believe he had three brothers and his parents when I worked there. That was many many years ago but that was the friendliest easiest company to work with and for and they gave me a chance being my first drafting job and it gave me my start for a great career in civil engineering drafting. I see that they have moved to another location but I had heard of that before through one of the employees that have passed away. But I always heard good things about the company I'm so grateful for my opportunity back then to get a good foothold into that line of work. I finally retired a few years ago from Txdot. And of course I moved away from Houston to Austin then on to work in Fort Worth for them for 17 years before retiring. There was several jobs in between but I will always remember my beginning they're at Morris and Associates. A great company and thank you again Bill Morris for giving me that opportunity.
