I don’t have nearly enough space here to describe all the amazing things about Anthony and the Moriches Catering team! From start to finish, the process was a breeze! Anthony was always available with advice and prompt answers to my questions. This guy knows his stuff and is an absolute pleasure to work with. He has a team of reliable vendors (tent, DJ, flowers, photographer, portable bathrooms, etc) that he works with regularly so he can help you attain those services as well. And speaking of breezes, our wedding was on the water on an extremely windy and chilly day. Anthony and his team made the necessary adjustments to the tent and party area to make the party flow smoothly and so my decorations didn’t get damaged by the wind. His staff was hardworking and extremely pleasant and attentive to our every need. They were like a well oiled machine! And the FOOD!!!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!!!! The grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters, mini beef tacos, pulled pork sliders were among my favorite appetizers. And the skirt steak!!!! You will not get better steak anywhere! Need a caterer for your party needs? Look no further. We have used Moriches Catering for a very large outdoor party and this year for my sons outdoor graduation party. The food was fabulous and the help that Anthony sent went above a beyond expectations. Your guests will be talking about the food and service for a long time. There prices are great, there selection are large and the food is outstanding and cooked on premise. I have also used them to cater a lunch with wraps and salads which were also a big hit. I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Anthony and Carmen of Moriches Caterers! I sent a general interest email inquiry one night around 9:00, and within 20 minutes, I had a response and menu options. This was indicative of Anthony's professionalism and over the top customer service that I received over the course of a 10 month planning for my daughter's wedding. He offered us cost saving suggestions, put us in touch with equally professional vendors and on the wedding day, handled everything from beginning to end allowing all of us to enjoy the party. From the get go, Anthony and Carmen shared their experience with myself and my daughter Nikki and helped us along thru our planning and all of the extras we had to do! They gave us contacts that saved us money and were wonderful, They knew that we wanted to do a bit ourselves ( save some money )and tried to help us as much as they could, though I must say it was a lot of work and if you can let them just take charge of it all DO!They Were able to be the umbrella plan and took care of the bartenders the waitstaff the rentals and coordinate all of those things that were easier done by them than us, and for that we are eternally grateful !!We chose to go with the simple barbecue it was perfection ,the salads the burgers the dogs the chicken everything was perfect!!Highly recommend them for any party event even from big to small they were outstanding!! Anthony was incredible to work with from the very first email that he answered! He is extremely knowledgeable about the entire wedding planning process (not just the food aspect) and was really accommodating and easy going when I wanted to be a little more hands-on to save some money on decor etc. We received so many compliments from our guests saying that our wedding was one of the most fun parties they had ever been to—and I know that Anthony was a big part of making that happen. I couldn't be happier to recommend this company for any private event needs. Moriches Caterers helped with me rehearsal dinner and most recently my baby shower. The food and the service are both something we got a ton of compliments on and both events would not be as memorable without them. For our rehearsal dinner they did a beautiful hor d'euvres display for a cocktail hour and an exceptional 3 course service. Our baby shower was a more casual BBQ style and the food quality and presentation was perfect. The owner Anthony was super helpful in planning and didn't miss a beat. When my fiance and I got engaged, we knew we wanted to get married outside and do something different- catering halls get so tired after awhile! However, we had no idea where to start... Doing an outdoor tented wedding seemed daunting and overwhelming having to bring everything in. Having just got married on September 10th, I can confidently say that hiring Moriches Catering was the best decision we made throughout the planning process. Anthony and Carmen are simply the best and know exactly what they are doing. They were there with us for every step of the way- selecting the menu, picking out rentals (linens, chairs, etc.) and executed our vision perfectly. People are still raving about the food and how amazing the wedding was. We had flank steak, scallops and lemon/herb chicken and everything was just delicious- not your typical "wedding food." Many of my guests commented that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. We had a relatively small wedding- 85 people or so, and Anthony worked with us to keep costs down and explore different options within our budget. Anthony and Carmen take so much pride in their work and truly care about making your wedding day picture perfect. I couldn't imagine accomplishing my dream day without them. The first time I contacted Anthony and Carmen, inquiring about their services, Anthony talked to me on the phone for 45 minutes- asking questions about me and my fiance, what our vision was and going through various menu options. Other caterers that I spoke to just couldn't be bothered and didn't give the time of day. We just had Moriches Caterers service our family and friends with a backyard BBQ baby reveal and a surprise wedding ceremony. From the start, Anthony was wonderful! He stayed within our budget and even gave us pointers about how we, as a young couple expecting, could handle portions of the event on our own to make it work! Well did it work and more! Anthony and his staff checked in with us on tables, the timeline, garbage disposal, obtaining linens and questions to ask our tent company to make sure all went smoothly. Things we never would have thought of he checked in with us! The attending chef and severs were amazing! They arrived to setup and we barely had to direct them with any service. Our guests are raving about how such a simple idea of a BBQ was so much more than they expected, as we also attest to that. The skirt steak, hamburgers, hot dogs, mussels/clams/shrimp, side salads, corn, watermelon were all delicious. The servers even setup and served our homemade desserts. Guests are also raving how smoothly the service was right down to cleanup! Whatever your budget, Moriches Caterers will work with you! Their office location also has amazing setups of table ideas that lend so much creativity for more lavish events. For the past five years, Moriches Caterers has provided catering for our annual Christmas Party. The latest party held this past weekend was for 40 people, and everything worked out perfectly! Anthony is a complete pro, as are his staff. The food was reasonably priced, delivered right on time, and it was absolutely delicious! We are big fans of the eggplant rollatini, but if you want to order a hero I would highly recommend the chicken cutlet hero with sweet red peppers! What's convenient is that when the hot food is delivered, Moriches Caterers will also provide you with nice silver chafing dishes, serving utensils, and sternos to keep things heated. It always adds a nice touch, and then you can return things to Bagel Deli the next day.I've never been disappointed with Moriches Caterers and highly recommend them! Thank you, Anthony and Carmen! Moriches Caterers were fantastic.   We were having a company offsite meeting and wanted to have a Clambake.  Not only was working with Anthony and the team prior a great experience, they are great communicators. Even though they are quite busy, they make you feel as if you are their number one priority.   The dinner was phenomenal, we had a chef and a chefs helper at the house, they seamlessly made 12 lobsters, steaks, corn, mussels and clams and everything in between, followed by a great strawberry shortcake.  They did the clean up, cracked the lobsters and everything was delicious and it was a very memorable dinner.  I would recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer in the NY area. Anthony & I just worked on a wedding together June 14,14 @ George Weir Barn in Lloyd harbor. Our party of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our clambake from Moriches Catering! We wanted our out of town guests to have a true Long Island classic experience. ..and we were thrilled with everything! The expertly prepared lobster was especially delicious (and easy to open/eat since they were pre-cracked for us). The steamed clams and mussels were delicious in the white wine sauce. When my husband and I met with Anthony from Moriches Caterers in the beginning of our wedding planning process, we had a vision for a rustic, but elegant wedding, which was to be held in a historical society barn where there had never been a wedding before. This barn did not have running water, a bathroom for our guests, or an on-site kitchen…it was essentially a shell. We were concerned about how we would pull this off with our lack of experience in party planning and a tight budget. When we met with Anthony, we expressed these concerns. Within our first meeting with him, we had full confidence in his ability to execute our vision successfully. With his 28 years of experience in this field, his attention to detail, intuitiveness, and “get-it-done” attitude and work ethic, he put us at ease. Throughout our wedding planning process, Anthony dedicated much time to meeting with us to discuss the plans for our menu, layout of the barn, rentals, etc. and he made visits to Shelter Island where our event was to be held so that he could take measurements to provide us with possible layout options. Anthony always kept our best interest in mind and he was honest. He did all that he could to respect our budget while also providing us with the experience we were hoping for. Additionally, he guided us throughout the process to help us know what was essential for achieving our vision and where to cut costs. Anthony knew exactly what we needed. Just three weeks prior to our event, I changed my mind about the type of tables I wanted to use. This, in turn, would affect our entire layout. Anthony was extremely flexible and accommodating. He met with us to go over our new plan and found a way to make it happen. Every time we left a meeting with him, we felt that we could relax because he had it all under control. The day prior to the wedding, Anthony traveled out to Shelter Island to ensure that all our rentals were delivered (tables, chairs, tablecloths, napkins, glasses, etc.). On our wedding day, he took total control so that we could enjoy our special day. When we arrived at the barn, we were blown away by the ambiance that Anthony and Carmen had created...it completely exceeded our expectations. Their attention to detail enriched the theme and experience of our wedding. They incorporated historical pieces found at the barn as functional décor and brought their own lanterns that were placed on cocktail tables outside (which we hadn’t even planned for). As for the staff, my husband kept saying that they were like “ninjas”…they kept the place looking spotless without even being noticed. The transitions from cocktail hour, to dinner, to desert and coffee throughout the celebration were seamlessly flawless. This led to a smooth flow of the day. All of this comes without even commenting on how stellar the food was! We knew the food was delicious and tastefully prepared from our tasting, but our guests were RAVING about the food and its presentation (and we have some tough critics in our family!). Among the many decisions my husband and I made while planning our wedding, hiring Moriches Caterers was one our smartest.   Anthony & Carmen made the planning process so seamless, allowed us to be guests at our own wedding, and truly gave us our perfect wedding day .  Since our first meeting with Anthony and Carmen, we were made to feel comfortable and were really impressed by their samples of previous work.  Throughout the planning process, Anthony took the time to really understand what kind of wedding we wanted, and though we know he was handling many clients, he always had time to speak to us.  We were astounded by his organization, time management skills and attention to detail.We trusted that Anthony and Carmen would make our wedding beautiful, but their end product exceeded all of our expectations.  To say the food was good is an understatement; many of our guests (as well as our photographer) said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding, and they are still raving about the dishes they had that night.  Anthony and Carmen did just as well with decor - they took our vision, enhanced it,  and brought our wedding to level that was far beyond our expectations.  We still are in awe of what Anthony and Carmen created that night, and our guests were as astounded as we were.I'll always be grateful to Anthony & Carmen for giving us our perfect wedding.  In a nutshell, if you need someone you can really trust with the details of your event, from top to bottom, you can't do better than Moriches Caterers.  To say that they deliver on their promises is an understatement, and anyone would be lucky to have them as their caterers. I cannot praise Moriches Caterers highly enough for how successful our event was. We had a housewarming party that was also a surprise wedding for all the guests. From the get go Anthony instilled confidence that everything would be great and he delivered all the way down the line. The food was great, the set-up in our yard was great and, most of all, each of the staff were such personable, nice people. They were proactive and foresaw the needs of all of our guests. Mary, our host, was fantastic. Her support staff, Phil, Stacy, Sean and Kiera were all great within their roles and Evan got all of the guests to and from their cars with a smile. We had ten friends staying at a bed and breakfast in Eastport this weekend.  We were looking to do something casual but wanted quality.  I spoke to Anthony and he immediately convinced me to plan a clam bake that he could prepare and deliver.  The food arrived and it was clear we were in for a first quality meal. The lobsters were fresh and the butter great.
