My husband, my mother-in-law, and myself dinner here for the first time tonight and might I say absolutely amazing!! Wonderful food, great portions, reasonable price, and friendly staff! ! Will definitely come back, I don’t see how anyone could not like this place! I got the half rack of ribs which just fell off the bone and a backed potato which was huge and for desert I got Bourbon pecan pie absolutely wonderful. I've had the pleasure of eating some amazing barbecue at Moore Meats on multiple occasions. I don't have any complaints except I leave too full. I've had the sliced brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. All are incredible! Have to admit that I'm in love with the ribs. Don't forget some potato salad, beans, and slaw to accompany that barbecue. All homemade and delicious. I don't eat sweets much but the chocolate mousse cake called to me today. Oh. My. Word. It was heaven on a plate. Staff is friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. The decor is absolutely charming and inviting. It's really nice to see the way they repurpose items in original ways. Communal tables are great way to meet and catch up with neighbors. I made a new Facebook friend the first time I ate there. Outdoor tables are available for nice weather. Games at the tables are set up to break the ice or keep folks busy until the food arrives. Out of all the different meats I've had in my mouth, Moore Meats is my favorite. It pleased my palate, filled me up, and had me craving a cigarette when I was done.
When they first brought me my plate I was petrified but now I wonder how I will ever live with it inside.
Before trying out any meat it must always meet my visual standards. Moore meats looked juicy, had good color, and was the perfect thickness.
Moore Meats is the only meat for your mouth. The good thing about falling in love with this meat, it won't leave you because theres always more.

We take pride in the fact that we make it our priority to serve only the best Texas BBQ.
What do you love most about your job?
Waking up in the mornings and getting the smoker started up. That initial smokey smell really hits the spot.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Chris wanted to share his love for cooking with the community and pass on his knowledge to each of his employees.
