Known affectionately as the "Ruined Liver", the Moon River is more than just a booze cruise. This is a wonderful facility, moored on the banks of the river Shannon in the heart of Carrick on Shannon. It provides day cruises on the Shannon, alternatively upriver and down river, with commentary and entertainment, while taking in the spectacular sweeps of the river. At night it becomes a floating disco. The board had full bar is abilities and during the day one can get a nice cuppa ad well. Kenny and his crew look after their guests exceptionally well. More...

Highlight of our weekend!Went on the moon river as part of my granny's birthday weekend, she has mobility issues and requires a wheelchair the staff on the boat were very attentive and assisted us in every way possible.
