Get the roasted red pork!! I repeat, get the roasted red pork on whatever you order. Drunken Noodles is my go to so I ordered the roasted red pork as my meat. My boyfriend got the roasted red pork entree. Both were delicious! Another friend at our table ordered pork on a noodle entree but didn't say "roasted red pork" and so he received a different style of pork. We also got the free fried fish balls with yelp check in. I think people at our table were initially hesitant, but everyone tried one and wanted more. I would warn others that their spice scale is spicier than other Thai restaurants I've had. Our waitress very kindly led us to lower spice numbers as we ordered. I normally order medium/3 at other restaurants, but struggled a little with a 2 spicy here. Still amazing food! I would just order a 1 next time to compare. Lastly, we came on one of their busiest days. It was Labor Day weekend and people were returning fromBurning Man. Service was still good considering! Really cool place. Decor is really nice with plenty of Thai movie posters, artwork, random pictures and antiques. Food was pretty good, we had a free appetizer plate for checking in on yelp. Wife was in the mood for some Thai food. This spot has great dishes but be warned their medium is pretty spicy for the average taste. I would advise those who can't handle spices to order a level 2/5 or below we ordered all our dishes at a level 3/5 and it made me sweat and usually I get it super spicy at other place. The portions seem a little smaller than other Thai joints in town, but the ingredients are better and the prices are good. The fresh spring rolls were incredible. Everything was sooo good. one of the only thai places i've tried that actually makes your food spicy when you as for max level. most thai places adhere to standard 'spicy' not southeast asian real spicy. they even gave me fresh thai chilis on the side! was sooo good. the best crab fried rice i've tried. add the 'fish sauce with chilis' on the rice. soooo good. this was our trip to tahoe/reno and was good to have some great food on the way back home. Maria and I  found that certain Thai restaurant that offers the cuisine of more than one Thai region. Moo Dang is easily accessible and has lots of parking. I am not a big fan of green papaya, green curry, or coconut milk, etc which are found in the majority of Thai restaurants and that is the base for most of their dishes. Moo Dang has all of this plus more: meals without coconut milk, We had the Sen Yai Noodles with chicken and vegetables, the Eggplant with Pork, the Ginger and Mushrooms, and brown rice. They brought us the hot and spicy condiments on the side to add to our food. Some condiments were spicy hot, others were not. We were both ecstatic with our selections and the food was not disappointing. Best Thai food, from my limited perspective, I have ever had. I have a feeling that in the near future Moo Dang will have a good following in the midtown area. A good selection of beers from Asia and other parts of the world. They also have sake and wine. Friendly, helpful waiters/waitresses who know the menu and will explain the menu items. We are looking forward to our next visit. $$, very casual, cafe decor, modest furnishings. Located in midtown Reno, this restaurant has excellent ratings and so I had been meaning to check it out for a while. We went here on a Sunday evening, and the place was mildly crowded, showing it's popularity. The servers were prompt and we got our table in less than 5 mins.A yelp checkin does get you a free plate of "fish balls", so do not forget that!! Besides that, we ordered garden fresh wraps and Tom yum fried rice- the rice was tangy and a bit spicy which we loved. We went vegetarian and so we asked for tofu with our fried rice and the server obliged. Almost anything can be made vegetarian so do not hesitate to ask. All in all, we were happy with the food. I loved their peanut sauce which comes with the garden wraps, super yum!!Overall, we enjoyed our dinner there, the only thing is the order does take time to prepare to be patient. That was a real plus for us for future group dinners. The menu had so much to choose from. You will find many things to eat even if your a vegan, vegetarian, or meat eater. I also really like the way you can choose how spicy you like your food from a 1-5 star rating on 1 being the most mild and of course 5 will be very spicy. There food does not have msg so another big plus for them. Lastly I just want to mention that I love the way they use paper straws. Nice to know they are doing a part to help the environment too. So the next time your looking for a good Thai place you should check them out. The parking lot is so big with lots of other places around so you should not worry about getting a parking spot. Not even half way through my bowl of Tom Ka (shrimp) and I had to stop and write.  Easily one of the best I've had.1. Broth: silky smooth, perfect blend of coconut and aromatics. 2.  Veggies: Perfect.  Nice mix of onion, scallion, mushroom and tomatoes.  Not overcooked, perfect snap.3. Shrimp: Perfect.  Deveined and cleaned, not overcooked.4. Value:  Small bowl could easily be your meal. A little expensive at 11.99 but we'll worth it for the large serving.Only complaint (mild inconvenience) was that there was a lot of inedible lemongrass and ginger pieces to pull out of just about every bite.  All that tasty goodness has to come from somewhere I guess.Rest of meal:  Drunken Noodles (pork and chicken) good, not great (7 out of 10).  Thai Sticky Rice with Mango was good too, simple and basic with perfectly ripe mangos (7 out of 10).Overall:  Excellent Tom Ka I'd go out of my way for on a rainy day.
