Mel is absolutely fantastic, very friendly and clearly adores dogs. We were let down by our previous sitter in April and Mel agreed to look after Lola at short notice. Mel was very welcoming and answered our many questions beforehand and asked plenty herself about Lola's routine, choice of bed, feeding times etc. We felt completely at ease and Lola had such a good time with Mel's dog Suzie, she didn't want to come home! Lola has just returned from a second (much longer) stay, where we received daily updates with pictures and videos - mostly of Lola and Suzie being up to no good! We also asked Mel to give Lola a full groom and she has never looked better! As most pet owners will appreciate, it's quite stressful leaving your pet in an unfamiliar place for the first time but we were able to relax within a few hours knowing that she was in very good hands. We cannot put it into words how delighted we are with Mel and the wonderful service she provides. We had a bad experience previously with a local kennels, so were a little hesitant leaving our dogs. After our first initial meeting and home visit, Mel had put us at complete ease. While we were away, Mel kept us completely up to date with their adventures, sent photos and was easy to keep in contact with. Our dogs came home VERY relaxed, happy and smelling fantastic!
