I love that being a business owner allows me to work with the clients I really want to work with. I choose clients and partners who are passionate about user experience, about research, and about iterating until we get things right. And I love being able to work with clients after their website launches to measure their results and reach higher.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I saw a lot of companies offering web design, but no counsel on content or user journeys. I see developers who are hybrid website planners.
Starting my own business lets me take back control of the process. While still being nimble and only taking the time we need, we're able to conduct surveys, build prototypes and find issues before site launch. And while our focus is on up-front research and planning, we still build beautiful websites for our clients. Websites that actually work and achieve real business goals.
