We booked through 5pm and have had a lovely few nights away. The cottage was great, plenty of room. We looked out onto the pond and my wee boy enjoyed feeding the ducks. We enjoyed a swim and the adults enjoyed the spa. I wish we had booked more nights More...

First visit and loved it! Beautiful setting, spa and pool fantastic and dining was excellent (recommend highly the crispy pork belly ) as was breakfast a feast! Staff were amazing and wanted to give the waitress a round of applause the way she dealt with an unreasonable and demanding customer. Will definately recommend and will be back. More...

Only 4 stars as the swimming pool was absolutely Baltic and the Jacuzzi was luke warm, also would have been great if they had supplied you with some free flip flops to avoid having to keep returning to the changing area to put on your shoes! Perfect plc to stay for a few ngts . 10 min walk into the quaint friendly & lovely town of Aberfeldy & enjoyed the experience of the grand tour of Dewers distillery . The gorgeous trail walks & stunning views . You have to love the friendly ducks that sit at your cottage door for some petting . Book your spa well in advance . It’s a little disopointing to dream about the pampering massage & it’s booked out solid . Over all I definitely recommend More...

Thank you for a lovely stay in one of the cottages. We have just arrived home and really didn't want to leave. A few days wasn't long enough.
Our cottage was comfortable, clean and traditional. How I expected. Considering we were in a one bedroom cottage it was very spacious with everything we needed. The views surrounding Moness Resort were breathtaking. We enjoyed a very long walk up the Birks.
Staff at Moness were very friendly and welcoming. We had dinner in the Bistro which was lovely and large portions. Staff again were very friendly.
We really enjoyed the swimming pool, and use of sauna and steam room. So relaxing and the tranquil music just made it even more blissful.
The only fault was I wish our stay was much longer. But we will definitely be back and hope to book again for this year.

Came to Moness for a two night stay for my fiances birthday. I had booked one of the cottages ‘Damson’. What a great stay we had, the cottage had everything we needed to make us feel right at home. We arrived on the sunday and had a spa and lunch booked for the Monday, we both had the massage and both thearapists were great we really enjoyed our treatment. We then went and enjoyed the lesuire facialities the jacuzi had broken but these things happen. Later on we went for lunch which was included in the spa in the terrace lounge. The soup was a bit to be desired for, but overall was nice for what was included. Overall we had a great experience all the staff were lovely, any bad reviews I had read about rude staff etc was not the case, and yes the place is a bit tired decor wise but who really cares! People that moan about this set their standards to high, and with great views round about my least worry was old looking decor. More...

My husband booked us a couple of nights here for my 50th. They had no rooms in the actual hotel for our specific dates so offered us a self catering cottage at no extra charge. The cottage was a short walk from the reception and was clean and very well equipped. We had a separate living room and kitchen and the bedroom was large and spacious. The hotel itself was lovely and we enjoyed the pool and sauna, unfortunately the hot tub was put of order. As part of the deal we had £20 credit each to spend on food. We ordered both nights from the pre theatre menu which was 3 courses for the £20. There wasn't much choice but we loved the food we were given. It was tasty and beautifully presented....i can highly recommend the seafood penne pasta yum! The service throughout the hotel was friendly and efficient. We hope to return here at some point. Found the bed a bit too firm. The TV was more complicated than it should have been but eventually got it to work. The TV was small with very limited channels, many of which broke up. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and professional. The resort was very nice with good facilities. However, Aberfeldy lacks any character and is devoid of quality eateries or retail outlets so be prepared to travel further afield. It does however have some lovely walks and the scenery is beautiful. It all depends on what you are looking for.

Great location at the top of the town, with just a short 10min walk down to the centre of town.
Amenities were very good with the pool excellent for younger children. A small play area is also available for toddlers, unfortunately the gate didn't lock on this.
In the terrace area there is a decent sized TV with sky TV available to guests.
The food in the restaurant was very good, and the bar upstairs also had a good menu with pub grub style portions. The staff in both of these areas were excellent, very courteous and helpful.
The room we had was in the courtyard No 91 here there was absolutely no Wifi available for the kids tablets. The downstairs toilet didn't lock and the oven has been cleaned enough to wipe all symbols and writing from the dials. So the room overall could have been better and certainly needs some TLC.

Went for a couple of nights stay and was thoroughly impressed with Moness. The accommodation was clean and up to date. The restaurant was top notch with a decent menu, I would recommend the venison burger. The swimming pool is available for families but also has adults only swim times. The hot tub was great. Finished off the trip with a visit to the spa for a massage which was very relaxing. Would definitely book for a return trip and for a longer stay next time. More...

Stayed in one of the courtyard cottages. Accommodation is very clean, spacious and well equipped, if a little dated. Showers were hot and powerful, and beds were comfy. Grounds well kept. Pool is fairly small, but fine for a quick dip. Didn't eat in hotel restaurant, but have eaten in upstairs bar before, and it is ok for pub food, but we prefer to walk into town. Upstairs bar a bit brightly lit, and pretty dead, but the lounge bar next to the restaurant has a nice ambience. Overall Moness isn't a luxury stay, but great value for money More...

Lovely out of the way resort, great place to relax.
We had a twin room in the east wing, good size with a lovely bathroom. Iron and hairdryer provided, bottles of water and tea making facilities.
Concierge had phoned the day before to see if we needed anything else.
We had the 3 course dinner option and all of the food was of a very high standard, tasty and well presented. Staff were very friendly.
Nice relaxing area to sit and have drinks too.
Breakfast buffet had a decent selection and everything was hot.
Lunch selection was good and served quickly, friendly waiter very helpful.
Spa facilities were nice, steamroom hot..
Changing rooms a decent size with usual facilities, not as nice as some spa hotels, felt a bit like a standard leisure centre, but possibly because weekends are full of children and the pool is not that big so go midweek for a spa day.
2 treatments plus lunch for 2 is a great deal for future visits. I had back massage from Claud and it was amazing!
Very friendly amenable staff in spa, will definitely be back

Really lovely resort. We used the Groupon deal so had breakfast and one dinner included. The dinner was great. No food left on the plates. We used the pool every morning too which is adults only from 8.30 to 9.30. The hot tub, sauna and steam room didn't seem very hot compared to others I've been to which I liked as I often find then too hot to sit in.
We used the bike hire facility which was quite expensive and unfortunately we didn't think the bikes were that great. One in particular couldn't go up hill without the gears slipping the whole way.
We paid to have the superior rooms as all of the deluxe rooms were fully booked. Our rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. Our bathroom in particular was lovely with a huge tub.
We would definitely stay again.
