We used Mojo Photography for our summer wedding and we couldn't be any happier with the service that we received. Jan is friendly and professional. She really made everyone feel very relaxed on the day and everything ran very smoothly (and on time!)The photographs that Jan took were incredible. We discussed our thoughts before the day and Jan managed to capture the atmosphere exactly. Jan covered our entire day, including the 'getting ready', the ceremony & the reception. She moved between venues without fuss and never made us feel rushed. After the wedding, we received digital copies of all of our photographs which really took the stress out of sharing the pictures of our special day with everyone that wanted to see them. Thanks, Mojo Photography!! More...

Q&As

The secret to a great photo is getting to know your clients and what makes them happy. Capturing that moment of true happiness is the best feeling. Also showing real emotion and love between couples.

I ask my clients who are the most important people to them at the wedding. I always make a list of family and friends so that no-one is missed out. I like to make sure that my photos reflect mostly treasured friends and close relatives.
I like to get to know my wedding couples, find out what they are expecting from the photo shoot.
It is also important to ask how long they would like to take on the 'formal' group shots and go through timings so that everybody knows what to expect on the day. Sometimes couples don't realise that a long list of groups can mean standing around for a long time, rather than enjoying their wedding day! It is important to get this balance right.

I love getting to spend time with my clients on the most important day of their lives. I also love delivering the finished albums and bringing all the wonderful memories of the wedding day back again.

I love what I do and wanted to get all aspects of the wedding photography process under my control. Years ago, when I worked for other companies, I would not meet the bride and groom until the actual wedding day. This left little time to get to know them and what they want as a couple.
Now I have my own company, I feel that by the time the wedding comes around, I have met my clients a few times already and we are friends. This makes the day even better for me of course :-)

As well as taking great photos, I am a relaxed and happy person. I have been there for many brides (and nervous grooms) reassuring them before the ceremony. I am definitely not an aggressive, shouty photographer, but I do get people organised quickly with a bit of jovial banter. I have been in the wedding industry for over 20 years now, so can also offer advice on other aspects of your wedding, from cars to flowers, venues etc. I have seen a lot of weddings!
