This is no rubber chicken caterer. Jim and Bill created a fabulous rehearsal dinner for 40 guests at Stoneridge Farm in Perkasie. Highest quality fresh creations, so artfully arranged and served. From appetizers thru desserts. Personal favorite was the cedar planked salmon and roasted summer vegetables.... They supplied EVERYTHING including ice for our self supplied bar. We hired Modern Palate to cater our daughter's graduation party for 65 people. Jim from Modern Palate was so professional and responsive. The food he prepared for our party was delicious and tasted just like home cooking. I love to cook and prepare fresh food so when I say this, I do with the utmost scrutiny. His platters were beautifully displayed and the food was freshly prepared on site. Our guests raved about the salmon with mango salsa and his bechamel on the pasta primavera is delicious. His staff was so friendly and attentive to our guests and his cleanup was spotless! I cannot say enough good things about this business, and I will definitely be using them again for future parties. I love the family meals program. I like the variety, that I can choose, that I'm not eating the same thing every night. Their add on soups are delicious as well. Their service is outstanding; I've had 2 special requests to their manager and his response was fast and accommodating. The deliver driver is also great, making sure you know your order has arrived. Purchased a Groupon for the Modern Palate meal plan to try them out. Wow! First off, I'm thrilled with any service that delivers prepped food. As a mom to a newborn and three young kids, that in itself is a seller for me! I had some trouble using the code online and when I called both times, each person who answered the phone was super helpful and pleasant to talk to.The meals were delivered cold, in trays for us to reheat. They all looked great! We had the turkey dinner tonight and it was delicious! The portion sizes were great too! Even without the Groupon, you can't beat the normal pricing for prepped fresh meals.I'm so thrilled I found Modern Palate's family meals and will be ordering again! More...

Far exceeded my expectations. The food tastes amazing and comes in tin baking pans so all you have to do (literally!) is just put it in the oven. It's like having a private chef that delivers to your door. It's absolutely worth the money just in the time I save by not having to meal plan, shop, prep, cook, or do dishes. Plus the price is spot on for what I would be spending at the grocery store anyway... maybe even a little cheaper. Portions are perfect; the family meal that feeds 3-4 is enough for myself and my husband, our three young kids (they don't eat much), and usually a little left over for the next day. My only suggestion would be offering brown rice and whole grain pasta options, as we try to cut out white carbs when we can. Overall very happy and will continue to order from them. More...

Got the Coffee & Chile Rubbed Pork meal and was quite surprised. Being that it was something I was going to pop in the microwave, I was expecting tough pork with just a hint of flavor. Man was I mistaken. The spices were beautiful done, not to much, not to little, and as I pulled my meal from the microwave, the aroma was delightful. I took my first bite of the potatoes and carrots and was immediately savoring my meal. Then I took my first bite of the pork, which is where I had the most doubts, but I was quite pleased to be proved wrong. The tenderness of the pork was amazing and as the spices mixed with the juices from each bite, it was a wonderful experience for my taste buds. I now plan on trying several more of their wonderful, perfectly portioned meals. More...
