The installation guys turned on time and worked like Trojans to get the marquee up and ready for us. What an art it is to put the marquee up in such a short time. This is the second time we have used Event Equipment Hire for our marquees and their service is second to none.From Phil coming out to the house to discuss our requirements and designing the layout, to the team who built the marquee, I have nothing but praise for them.We had our events in February both times and the winds were almost 100 mph! I did worry the marquee wouldn't stay put and it did!On the day of the event, due to the strong winds the ceiling lining had come down and Bob was there within 20 mins to sort it out, he also arrived at 9pm on the Saturday evening to check the heaters were functioning correctly as we were having a slight issue with them. They were working fine, it was a fault that we had done that was causing issue and I was beyond grateful that Bob came and sorted it out on the Saturday evening.The service provided by Event Equipment and all its staff is excellent and I would recommend them 100% and will be definitely be using them again. Dave was an absolute superstar. We had a complete nightmare with fitting the stage onto the pavement due to restrictions such as traffic lights, bollards, trees etc but he refused to give up. Through sheer determination and patience after 6 attempts he managed to get the stage in to position. Any other company would have given up after the first two attempts so we are so glad we choose Event Equipment Hire. The Lissenden Gardens Street Festival in Camden, north London, hired an Event Equipment Hire small stage for our Community Street Festival on 16 September 2018 and it was perfect for our event. The stage construction was flawless and the driver/operator was very helpful and a real pro. It was just the right length and height for our event and it allowed us to showcase everything from two community choirs (16 people maximum) to the winners in children’s competitions. And the bands and performers absolutely loved it. The fact that the stage had a roof created a very professional atmosphere. Although we had brilliant sunshine and a windless day, it would have been invaluable in rainy weather. Although it may seem a bit pricey, especially when you have to provide your own PA, we thought it was well worth the money. The company arrived early, were absolutely professional and, to coin a phrase, provided everything 'as described on the tin’. If I had one gripe it was that the furniture (chairs) were caked in mid when they were delivered and, also, the logistics team could do much better at advising customers as to when delivery and collection will be. Great customer service especially with to-ing and fro-ing over difficulties with timing at the venue and break down on the way to build. Marquee was great, just what we needed so thanks for the advice given.Just one comment - on one of the fire exit panels the escape route meant stepping over a trailing wire. Fantastic experience with the company. Very easy to deal with and communication was good. The marquee was put up with plenty of time before my wedding and with little fuss. Some bits were missing but the guys quickly rectified this. My only issue was that some of the chair pads were dirty, with chewing gum on one however this was a small issue. Overall a fantastic company and I would certainly recommend and use them in the future. They made a dirty old wood yard into a perfect wedding venue! Thanks again! More...

It was almost a five star rating. Service before booking, throughout and on the day from Leann and Danny absolutely first class. Could not be faulted. Courteous and professional throughout. My only nit pick was that I was unaware that the big screen we booked did not come with sound. That was an extra. Now I am an unobservant individual and might have missed something obvious in the pre-booking blurb that would have revealed that. But I am not alone in having that fault. Once again Event Equipment Hire supplied us with a great stage for our Christmas Festival. Their site support guy was fantastic and is definitely part of our event team now! The stage set up was brilliant and was the centre of our Festival, with singers, dancers and choirs.
