We applied for a spouse visa in 2019 which was rejected due to mishandling of documents by another solicitor company.

We really came to the end of what was a very dark tunnel for 2 years!

While browsing through to look for a new lawyer to file an appeal, I read the amazing 5* reviews and immediately called the office of MLC Lawyer's.

I came to MLC as an EU citizen worried about my status in the wake of the Brexit referendum. I was particularly stressed because I had already had an application refused before and I knew that my case was quite tricky under EU law. Annik and Aleksander at MLC were very informative and honest, and reassured me from the beginning that I had good chances of securing permanent residence and to subsequently naturalise as a British citizen. MLC advised a close family member and I, on an application under the infamous Windrush Scheme. From the initial consultation, I found Aleksander, our advisor, to be thorough, patient, passionate and totally competent. He was well seized of the law and he developed a very detailed knowledge of our complex case in a short time. Alexander was in charge of my application to bring my fiancee to the UK, the application was a bit complicated and with the switch to the new way of submitting the paperwork (online) there were some issues with the accuracy of the system which made me feel worried when submitting the application (they asked for b1 English level while my fiancee sat the a1 test as mentioned on gov. uk website) however Alexander put me at ease and assured me that the application is perfect (can't imagine spending 6 weeks worrying about this issue while my application is being reviewed). this just one of the problems i faced and MLC was really helpful in dealing with it, and now my fiancee is here in the UK!! where do i even start from? Before coming to MLC, we spoke to other solicitors in the area, no one has matched the expertise of this office. The office made it feel very confident about our case, which was a very complicated one. We worked closely with Aleksander, who dealt with our case. I had a seriously messed up immigration history. Overstayer for 7yrs, convicted for deception, working illegally!!! Less than 5% chance to ever regularise my stay in UK. Even after getting married to my British spouse and having a British child I wasn't confident enough to apply for Visa. My wife engaged the services of MLC Immigration Lawyers to assist with her application to remain in the UK (she is a dual Thai / Australian Citizen and the mother of a British Citizen child). Her case was somewhat complex and from the outset the representatives at MLC explained why they felt she would be successful in her application (based on their previous experience of similar cases).
