We hired MKE Sound for our wedding in November of 2019. Justin was so easy to work with while planning, and they have an awesome, easy to access Google doc to fill out your info and preferences. Justin and Lexie were our DJ's at our wedding. They provided the means for my stepdad to play guitar for preceremony music, they provided music during our ceremony, and then did an amazing job at our reception. Justin was the emcee and has a great attitude and did an exceptional job keeping the night going. From announcing our wedding party, announcing the speeches, hosting the shoe game, and first dances, and every bit in between, every single part was seamless and perfect. Our wedding day was amazing because of MKE Sound. If you are between 2 companies and are deciding, this is your sign. Hire them. You will not be disappointed. From the initial conversation we had with MKE Sound to the wedding day, they made the entire process extremely easy. As we needed them to play music for the ceremony, cocktail hour and entire reception they did a phenomenal job keeping the energy up the entire night. MKE Sound was fantastic!! They played a variety of music and kept the dance floor busy all night! They were so helpful throughout the entire planning process and very flexible with any changes we needed to make. They had suggestions for making the timeline run smoothly and for a song choice for a game we wanted to play at the reception. Our guests had nothing but compliments to say for MKE Sound. They made me feel comfortable and confident that the reception would run smoothly. Last weekend I was the best man in my buddies wedding and wanted to incorporate my guitar into my speech. I wasn't sure how it was going to work as I didn't want my friend to see the guitar or anything as it was a surprise. I reached out to MKESound a couple days before the wedding to let them know my plans and they were nothing but great and as good as it gets. They were professional, kind, and had quick response times. They were able to help me with my bestman speech, and plug the guitar into their equipment with no sound check or anything! They have top notch expertise and high end equipment that allowed for my unique request to come together and be delivered perfectly. MKE Sound was an amazing choice for our wedding day. From the first day of meeting Justin we knew he would be a great fit for our wedding. He was extremely easy to talk to and was incredibly responsive. He was exceptionally organized and he helped us out with all the little details we may not have remembered. The spreadsheets, check-ins and email were all greatly appreciated and helped to take off the stress of planning a wedding. MKE Sound was very professional, but also knew how to keep the party going. MKE Sound made our reception a PARTY. Justin was amazing to work with throughout the year. Easy to work with, communicated quickly and organized. SO organized! He helped us organize our timeline and was ready for any changes we threw his way. I completely trusted MKE Sound to run our day and they did the most phenomenal job. The guidelines they asked us to fill out made me feel they wanted our day to be everything we wanted. We had a 'different' request to play late 90's-early 00's alternative (our favorite music) during cocktail hour... my husband and I still talk about how they rocked that request! They ran the evening perfectly and I never had to think about what I needed to do next (i.e., when should speeches start? where are the microphones? when should we do bouquet and garter?) because they did it all for us. MKE Sound did an absolutely amazing job as our DJ for our wedding. They played music based off of not only what we told them we wanted to be played, but what our guests seemed to be liking, as well. Even the soft music they played during dinner was great. They played a really good variety of songs and they didn't clump genres of music together, which kept our guests dancing all night. Aside from playing great music, they were also really responsive and easy to get a hold of leading up to our wedding day, which is extremely helpful for a stressed out bride! They did not forget anything that was suppose to happen throughout the evening, even when we did, and always doubled checked to see if the game plan had changed. THE BEST! They put together such an awesome playlist for our wedding based on the type of music we wanted to hear and our must-plays. The dance floor was packed the entire time and people practically had to be dragged off the dance floor at the end of the night. Anytime someone mentions our wedding, one of the first things they say is how great the music was and how everyone was dancing. Our DJs (Justin was the 'lead') were so great to work with and they were very accommodating in the days leading up to the wedding and were ready at a moment's notice to change something around during the reception. MKE Sound not only rocked our wedding but we got them from a charity auction that they were kind enough to donate their time to! The djs were able to flow with our guests and make sure that they were all having a great time. Our friends all raved about how they were never able to leave the dance floor because the playlist was too good! The djs also helped us to make sure our timing was perfect for the grand March and that all traditional things were done at the perfect time. (Bouquet toss, cake cutting, etc). I really have to say that MKE sound is the total package. The professionalism of Dan and Tory before, during and after our wedding was phenomenal. We especially enjoyed their ability to play any song we requested on the fly, and their snappy attire helped them fit right in with our guests.
