Mark's helped us out on two occasions - the first being very thorough advice on how goosed our washer dryer was in order to speak to our landlord and secure a new machine, and the second being when the new appliance was delivered and we were let down for the disconnection and connection. I rang and spoke to Mark regarding my 14 month old indesit dryer, he advised me to check the model and serial numbers first to see if it"s on the recall list, it is, although he hasn't actually been to fix the problem i felt the need to leave a review in him giving me advice and not just charging me a call out charge ( which is very reasonable ) to tell me it needs modifying, i will definitely use MJ Stevenson Services if any of my other electrical items break down in the future.

What an absolute life saver.  It was a Saturday morning and the handle broke on the washing machine in the house we were staying in. Called Beko, they said it would be 3 weeks. Called Curry's and they said the same. Called MJ and after a quick check to see if he had the part he was over within the hour.  Fixed, no problem. My Hoover tumble dryer was so noisy it was unbearable to be in the same room when it was on. I phoned Mark, who came round to take a look within a few hours. He diagnosed the problem after checking the machine, ordered a new fan for it and brought it round the next day to fit. Without question would highly recommend M.J Stevenson Services, from start to finish it has been such a relief to deal with somebody efficient and reliable. Quick correspondence regarding my initial query, was able to come round at 7pm after normal working hours which saved me having to take time off work. The repair that needed doing was an absolute nightmare job due to me trying and failing to mess about with my dishwasher. I somehow found my self with a completely messed up dishwasher - springs out of place, door off, wires hanging out! Mark was brilliant and a complete life saver here, fantastic value for money and a pleasure to deal with an efficient and honest workman!
