MJP Events was established in 2011 by Jeanette Spencer, who is a Certified International Event and Wedding Planning Professional (IEWP) and who is also certified in Event Design & Décor (IEDP). MJP Events specialise in planning events and weddings within the UK and also work with clients wishing to marry in the Caribbean.

What do you love most about your job?
I enjoy executing the vision of each client whether it is an an event planning capacity or as a venue stylist. There is extreme fulfilment in making somebody else happy which is by far the the best thing about my career.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I decided I wanted to be self sufficient, and work on something that I love and which brings me great pleasure. I have various other businesses and absolutely love being self employed.
Why should our clients choose you?
I specialise in full wedding planning. My services are very hands-on, and I aim to be there for you all of the time. I want my clients to think, I never could have done this without you. My budgets are heavy on the design element. Design for me includes everything from atmosphere to food, to guest experience and of course the decor. I look for clients who appreciate custom details, and are okay with their wedding being even just a little outside the box whilst still maintaining an intimate feel. I know couples are looking for someone who can ease their stress, tie all the details together to create a cohesive event, and make their day run smoothly and I am the right person to achieve this for them.
