Stopped for lunch in passing and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizzas. Some of the toppings are not entirely authentic Italian, but delicious nonetheless.

Nice hotel and good breakfast. My only gripe is breakfast could be served a bit later at the weekends. 9.30am is a bit early for it to finish.

We would like to sincerely thank Ann, Marion, Scott the barman and all the fabulous staff at The Watermill Hotel for giving us the most fantastic wedding day yesterday! Nothing was too much hassle for them. From the outset, they accommodated our needs and requests, gave us great advice and ensured our day went without a single hitch. They worked tirelessly to ensure the guests were happy and that Andy and I were stress free. The food was great, the service exemplary and the honeymoon suite was lovely. Everyone had a great time and I would thoroughly recommend The Watermill as a wedding venue. The staff are outstanding, from the lovely girl at reception (whose name I can't remember! Sorry!), the bar staff, the catering staff, Ann and Marion - everyone. Our day was perfect and we can't thank you enough. Everything was awesome! More...

We had a lovely meal for mums 80th. The food in my opinion was great. The watermill is one of the biggest icons in paisley, the lift was a bit rickety and worried me if it was going to get stuck when we went up to bed i was very surprised to hear people screeming and shouting. They sounded like they were in our room. I dont think id stay over again but would defo go back for a meal. The room was nice and the bed very comfy. More...

I am of the opinion that so long as a place is clean, I get a good night's sleep, a good breakfast then I am happy. The staff have been very friendly and helpful. The food has been great. The room s clean and God bed is comfortable and well worth the money that I have paid. If you are looking for luxury, you will be a little disappointed, but I have no complaints and would certainly stay here again. It meets all my needs and I should add that the breakfast is superb. Well worth the money that I paid. More...

Rooms need an update, but I understand this should be happening in the next few months.

A lovely, warm and welcoming hotel. I only had a single room, but it was lovely and with a great view of the water. The evening meal was delicious and good value and the bed lovely and comfy. The very pleasant lady at reception really went the extra mile, giving me a map and directions to my destination, which helped a lot. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, I will stay again when I'm in Paisley. More...

I loved my stay at this hotel. The staff were super friendly to the point they made us some toast for free to help with my hangover! The Bar has hidden beer garden which i also enjoyed sitting in with a lovely G n T. Food in the hotel was also amazing, and fresh cooked. The room was comfortable and clean. Prices for rooms, food and drinks are extremely reasonable. Customer service and friendliness-out of this world. That's for your hospitality guys More...

I love visiting the Royal when I pop through from scone to have a look round the shops in Blairgowrie.
It gets top marks from me because of the excellent range of Gluten Free meals offered, and the delicious cakes and scones they offer.
Their Cullen Skink soup is a particular favourite of mine, and is a meal in itself! My Daughter, Granddaughter and myself ( all Coeliac ) love the Gluten free Macaroni Cheese.
You can have toasties, fish and chips, chicken pie, pasta etc etc, all made Gluten free, with very careful consideration about no cross contamination with 'normal' foods. Well worth a visit!

We're a family of five and love this place. Great food, reasonably priced with friendly warm service, what's not to like?
We also need to eat gluten free; the menus all contain plenty of choice for us and the team are knowledgeable and happy to help at all times.
Five stars all round.

Went for High Tea and thoroughly enjoyed it. The batter on the fish could have done with a bit more cooking as it was undercooked but apart from that it was lovely. Lots of cakes which can be boxed to take away if you can't finish them. We managed to get a table for 2 without booking but better to book to ensure you get a table. More...
