Matt and his team are absolute professionals who take their work very seriously but not themselves too seriously!! They are so down to earth and truly cared about capturing our family just as we are. We had a family session at our cabin at Emma Lake as way to capture our family at our favourite summer getaway spot and the photos and video did exactly that. The video captured the smallest details that I wasn’t even aware of until I saw the video. I often catch myself humming the music from our video and it reminds me of the memories we made that day. The team at MJ&Co are hands down, the BEST photographers in Saskatoon. They will take care of you on the day of the shoot to ensure that you receive the best photos! Jesse and I are camera shy when it comes to taking any couple-related photos, but Matt and his team made us feel comfortable as soon as the shoot started. We are so happy we chose MJ&Co as our wedding photographers! We met them in person the day before our wedding after a number of fun skype chats in the months before (we live on the East Coast and got married in Sask) and we immediately felt so at ease that they would be capturing our celebrations. They were consummate professionals and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera - they even teased out the cutest smiles from our young nephews who were very nervous that day. We knew we'd end up with some fantastic shots after the amazing day we had with them, but they blew us away with what they delivered. Absolutely stunning shots that perfectly captured all the fun and love of the day. We ordered a beautiful photo album from them after the wedding as well and once again, it blew our expectations out of the water. It's decidedly the prettiest book we'll ever own. Thanks MJ&Co! We hired MJ&Co for our wedding in the fall of 2018 and the experience was great! We had heard of them before and had attended weddings that they were the photographers were at so we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. Matt and Janna made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera (neither my wife or I are naturals at this) and captured our engagement and wedding in the style that we were looking for. Our wedding had some significant cultural moments that they were able to capture wonderfully and made sure they caught both the smallest and biggest details. Hey Bride to be! You are me, about a year ago, doing the research, putting in the time. You can stop here, because you’ve found it. Matt had been recommended to me by a friend who had this team at her wedding. They were amazing. Came early and stayed late. Scouted the area for locations ahead of time. Went the extra mile. True passion was very evident. They were able to direct a 16 person wedding party, three families and countless guests at our NYE wedding. This wasn’t just a job — we honestly felt like they were part of the whole day. We had guests comment that they seemed to be “everywhere and caught everything!”, and yet my husband and I hardly noticed them there at all. They were amazing. They came through for us, even last minute, time and time again. During the whole wedding it felt more like we had extra friends there with us, not like they were a hired team with a job to do. We met Matt before our wedding in 2015. Instantly we connected with his very comfortable and easy going yet professional personality, which was so important for us when choosing someone to capture some of our most intimate family moments. We didn't want "posed" photos, rather someone with the gift of finding those beautiful "tidbits" that otherwise are lost if you are blind to them. Matt captured our wedding photos in real "live" moments - the ones you think back on in reflection of special days and wish you'd captured - he did that and so much more. We were so impressed with our photos that we asked him to follow us through our family chapters (lake life, kids, fall family, Christmas tree hunting... and continued). Matt was different from anyone we'd had photos with as we grew a relationship with him (completely unexpected). He's surprised us with 2 videos (ones we didn't even know he was taking while out with him). We are so grateful for these as they are incredible keepsakes. Matt truly pulls the beautiful details out of a comfortable and relaxed meeting - like you're simply getting a visit in with a friend however he's creating his masterpiece behind the lens and you don't even know it. He photographed our engagement photos and wedding photos, and the first time we met I instantly felt a level of comfort and friendship with him. He made taking photos so fun and easy! Matt and Julie photographed my family this past September and I just can't say enough about how great it was to work with them. They were chatty and funny which really helped everyone to relax in front of the camera, and they were even willing to work with having a family pet in the photos.
