They arrived on time and got the work completed in the time allocated and completed all I requested and were very tidy in their work and brushed up the patio.

What do you love most about your job?
The people. It's when the job is finished, the garden is tidied and the Client's jaw drops with "Wow". For myself, this is a better feeling than being paid; it means I have not only met but exceeded their expectations. This also normally means an invitation back as a trusted Garden Hand! Being outside in the fresh air is a lovely life, but it can also be a wet and windy life! You have to appreciate all elements of weather!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Not that I hear voices but the one in my head suggested one typically mundane day stuck in an office, "Why not investigate arboriculture/tree surgery".... and here we are!
After working in the office for many years I wanted to be in more control of my destiny and not held back by non-managing Managers. The office had too many egos and modus operandi that it became a living Game of Thrones. Too many agendas, not enough honesty.
I like being able to meet people, sell face to face, account manage and so much more which is often restricted by the typical conventions of Office Employment.
Why should our clients choose you?
I like to present information. I like to find out what it actually is the Client is trying to achieve.
I'm a family man, a Fellow of good standing.
We are about honesty, integrity and hard work. We will never pressure you with on the spot prices. We will never hound you for business whilst we work in your neighbour's gardens. We will always give you our best, we will never accept payment until the work is completed (but also expect to be paid on work completion!). You will only ever have the best people working for you.
You are inviting us into your home, onto your property and into your garden. This is where you relax, where your family and friends enjoy their visits, where your children play. We engage with our Clients no matter what age they are.
Engaging with people is just one of our Primary Rules. After all, it's not the tree who decides to call us back for another job!
