We hired LaDarius for our reception at Highland Brewing in Asheville. He was professional and easy to work with from the beginning. He helped the flow of the night with background music and announcements during dinner, then knocked it out of the park with dance music later on. We are so picky when it comes to music, but he was able to cater to multiple generations and kept all our guests dancing for over three hours!! The DJ is the most important vendor you book, do yourself (and your guests) a favor and book Mixwire Productions for your wedding. We booked Mixwire Pro for our Chicago wedding, and let me tell you--it was the best decisions we made. Initially booking him for our Sept. 2020 wedding, we had to postpone due to covid. LaDarius was super accommodating with postponing and even virtually DJ-ed our backyard minimony that year. Fast forward to Sept. 2021, LaDarius helped put on a spectacular Chicago Wedding for us. Throughout the entire process, he really listened to our vision for our wedding and went above and beyond to not only execute that vision, but take it to the next level. The music and emcee was perfect throughout each point of the event and during the reception our dance floor was LIT. Guests loved the photo booth because they got to take home prints or send themself digital copies. LaDarius worked with us to customize our photo booth designs and provided cool props that were actually fun to use and NOT outdated or lame like I’ve experienced at other weddings/vendors. If you a searching for a professional, knowledgeable DJ with an amazing ability to fire up the crowd- look no further! LaDarius was absolutely outstanding for our 8/14/21 wedding. He was very sweet, responded to all emails and correspondence very promptly, extremely professional to work with. We had to reschedule our event multiple times due to Covid- and he was accommodating to every date change. We did not want the stereotypical “cheesy” DJ experience. LaDarius crushes it this past weekend at our wedding! I am very indecisive and he was so patient with me and my music selections. He took all of my suggestions and made it work flawlessly. He knows how to read the crowd and keep the dancing going all night long. My mom and I even asked him to help us get a confetti cannon for when we kiss, and he pulled it off perfectly. MixWire did such an incredible job as the DJ of our wedding! We were a little particular on music we wanted played before the ceremony and during dinner, and LaDarius took our favorite songs and artists and played exactly what we wanted! We weren't sure what to play during the dancing, besides a couple of requests, and LaDarius played the best music! Booking a DJ was one of the most stressful decisions of wedding planning. We had been to so many weddings where the music killed the vibe, but no knowing vendors in Athens, we had no idea who to go with! We booked MxWire after reading several reviews, so if this is the case for you, look no further! LaDarius was an incredible DJ! We have very specific musical taste that felt like it didn't fit into typical genres. LaDarius worked with playlists I had to make the music before our ceremony and during dinner to be exactly what we would listen to having friends over for a meal. He was perfect when it came to MCing our reception and our wedding planner worked easily with him. Then came the dancing! We had a bunch of friends in their 20s and about as many family members over 50. Somehow he managed to keep both groups on the dance floor all night! OMG Ladarius was THE BEST!!! My groom and I were very nervous about picking a DJ because we knew dancing was going to be very important at our wedding! Luckily, we ended up choosing the most amazing DJ!!!
