Chris was our DJ for our wedding on 10/26/19 at Pond View Farm. He provided music for both our ceremony and reception and provided LED lights for the reception. We got so many compliments from guests on the variety of music and how great the playlist was. My husband and I really enjoyed it as well! We also had a lot of specialty dances, such as the anniversary dance and the polish apron dance, and Chris was very helpful organizing this and helping us select music for these dances. He also kept the dance floor going the whole night and was able to sense how the guests were feeling and what type of music they’d probably want to listen to. We used Mix Master’s Entertainment for our April wedding and could not be happier with our experience! From the beginning, the owner, Chris, was incredibly professional and communicative when we were securing the date and planning which specific services would be best for our wedding reception. Paul was then assigned as our DJ and again, we were given nothing but great customer service- both prior to the event with planning and then on the actual day, during our reception. He was detail-oriented, which helped keep us all on the same page and even showed up early on the wedding day to ensure that he had everything set up in plenty of time, including the additional sound equipment we requested for the ceremony. He was attentive throughout, followed our specific requests for the reception just as we discussed and affable with our guests. I am SO grateful to have had Chris as my DJ on my wedding day. I can’t recommend him enough! He was such a pleasure to work with, and made the process so easy! You can tell that he genuinely cares about the people he works for, and he really makes an investment into your day. He always responded right away and was there to answer any questions that I had. His online platform was also super helpful in figuring out song selection, and planning. My reception was everything I could’ve hoped for! Everything ran so smoothly and I didn’t have to worry about a thing. Everyone was dancing and having a blast! The uplighting also made a huge difference, and really created a fun atmosphere. My now husband and I met Chris last year at a wedding vendors convention at the Baltimore Convention Center. We stayed and talked to him much longer than any of the other DJs we met because he was so friendly and we got along with him so well! Chris also has great pricing for the standard packages and the extras he offers on top of those. We had up-lights as a part of our package and they made our reception venue look amazing. Chris was incredible extremely flexible and very accommodating to me and my wife we got married 9/15/18 and we were all over the place didn't have a set list until days before and we had such a diverse spectrum of music from from rap to country to Latin music and Chris made it go seamless and we didn't give him the best working conditions (sorry again Chris) but we could not ask for a better DJ or MC Chris is awesome he will do everything is his power to make your day perfect and that's what he did for us than you again Chris you're the man

We had a great time working with Chris and Chuck for our wedding. They were extremely professional and accommodating, took into account exactly the kind of music and ambiance were looking to have, understood what we didn't want, and ultimately at the wedding and reception I didn't have to worry about a thing. They also have a really cool online song selection feature where you can add songs you want, don't want, and up to 75 songs that are not in their database. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
The key to a successful event revolves around careful song selection and smooth transitions. We offer you a chance to be involved in designing THREE DIFFERENT PLAY LISTS; one Must Play, one Play If Possible, and one Do Not Play. Your DJ should be a confident and well polished public speaker who can be flexible when different things come up in your timeline or event sequence that are not part of the original plan.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
One of the things that has allowed our reputation to be recognized in many venues in the area is that we do not have a certain "style". We offer our services according to the personalities and desires of the couples who we work with. If you like your music selection to reflect something tropical to fit into a beach theme, that's not a problem. If you want to include country music to make it tie into a rustic theme, that's not a problem. If you're looking for top 40 current music to include the latest artists that match the ages of your bridal party, friends, and families, that's not a problem. We can be high energy and get on the dance floor with you to lead line dances, and we can be more reserved and work from behind the DJ table. We perform according to the desires of the couples we are fortunate to work with.
What do you love most about your job?
The thing that we love most is that catering the music and entertainment for someone's wedding day celebration is NOT a job. The day that we look in our database and see that we have a "job" to go to on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will be the day that Mix Masters closes. Creating memories of a lifetime - the kind you never want to forget - is our passion.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's not work when you're doing something that you love to do. It's only when you can identify with something that you are passionate about and something that makes you who you are when you'll be able to understand how we feel about being involved in the wedding industry.
Why should our clients choose you?
When it's all said and over with, you're going to have one of two people cater the music and entertainment for one of the most important days of your life. Both of us will have similar equipment. Both of us may have positive reviews. Both of us may have a similar music database. But, one will be doing it because it is their "job" and doing it because they have to do it. The other will be doing it because they are passionately committed to making every event they have the privilege to be involved with BETTER THAN anything they have done in the past. On top of that, this person will be able to offer rates to their clients that companies that operate on larger platforms can't touch. So, the question is really up to you... Do you want to hire someone who has nothing to lose and who is doing it because they HAVE TO, or would you rather use someone who has everything on the line and has everything at stake because they are the business owner and are doing it because they WANT TO?
